I am against abortion because i think it is murder. You never know what great things that child you are killing could have accomplished in life if it had had the chance to live. Someone could have killed the future scientist who cures aids for example. I dont agree with any murder and an innocent child especially. There are other options. Adoption or abstinence. Even for rape victims. Its a horrible thing to go through but its not a babys fault why kill it. Besides in many cases the guy doesnt even know about the baby and might have been a good dad but never had a chance. I think your statement of Christians being aborted them selves is just ridicules. Try growing up before you ask more ??s For those of you who say a fetus is not alive you must not have kids or have been pregnant. How does a baby move inside of you if it isnt alive. It gets nourishment form you and swims around in there I never knew dead things swam around or moved for that matter

Christians are against abortion because they believe that life begins at conception - I could rephrase that as, "God gives a soul at conception". In Christianity's eyes, abortion is the deliberate murder of a soul.

the killing of a child does not occur in an abortion, in my opinion. a child doesnt exist until after birth. it is called a fetus when it is still inside the womb, in my opinion. the question is not whether you should kill a child by having an abortion, but whether you should kill a fetus by having an abortion. another question is whether you can kill a fetus, since the fetus isnt really alive, in my opinion.

going on a tangent... people get so worked up about abortion, that they seem to forget about the children that are already born and living that die every day. do those people get as worked up about miscarriages?

No, my mom wanted both my brother and me and I wanted my kids. So in my case your stupid theory is out the window. Christians are against abortion because we believe life begins at conception, and all life is precious to God. Even yours.

Christians (and others) have a right to have an opinion about anti abortion. It does not matter why. My reason? If your mother aborted you, you'd not have a chance to ask this question.

Thou shalt not kill. Especially not innocent little babies that cannot defend themselves. Only a nation full of evil people like this one could have people so cold hearted as to kill their children. And they think they can judge God for the children killed during Biblical times? What a generation of vipers. Cold, calculating killers of children.

One it is taking a human life. Its not a pig growing in there.
Two it is harmful to the mother both physically and mentally as many have lived with this trauma and had a hard time dealing with it. Its not normal for a mother to terminate her child.

You know, just because someone is Christian, doesn't mean that they are just like every other Christian out there. People need to do what is right for them in that situation. Whether they choose to give birth to a child or abort it for a specific reason, that is their choice. Who are you to make a decision for someone else. America is supposed to be a place where Americans are FREE. free of speech, free to exercise their rights of being a human. Don't make someones mind up for them. Make decisions for yourself and yourself only. Don't bring religion into a major decision like that.

Christians have a one way view on everything.
They don't take issues into consideration, as Rape= an unwilling and usually violent
act.
they also don't take mothers' health=She just might die delivering.
Most of the time i feel they should mind there own business.
When the hell did anyone give them permission to rule over us when they have
been taking ower kids for decades.
I say, clean out your back house, then we'll talk, maybe.

Christians are against abortion because they've been told by church leadership to be against abortion.
All faith-based religions (such as Christianity and Islam) keep the faith by encouraging their membership to not think for themselves. The Pope/Priest/Mullah must know better, as they've been educated in it, right?
