Most Importantly and Fundamentally the concept of Yichud (hebrew) and Tawheed (arabic), both meaning the Oneness of God. Not to mention all the laws and prohibitions.
Muslims are like 99.9% Orthodox Jews, I think the only difference is that they do not accept the Final Prophet.
Peace Be With You

I am of The Christian Faith. I have been close to several Jews and spent a summer in Israel once... have had contact with muslims as well... ....I once knew a man who loved his family and worked hard to provide for them. loved his mother and father and honored them... liked to do many of the same things I did.... Knew another persone with the same similarities.... the first I did not know well personaly other than what I have said... the second I concidered a friend.... I concidered the other to be a posabale friend but he had a different "religion" and kind of kept seperate....but he was not conciderd by all who met him to be good... One day this man murdered the one I called a friend....it seems this man had a hidden very unsimiler trate and was quite anti social and un careing about any but a close set who thought as he did........ similarities do not make for true friendships... it is a close core belief in each other, but also it is the ability of accepting differences that are not against the core beliefs.... ... if one is valued less than the other and the core beliefs are so dissimiler that there can be no close interaction and acceptance... then there can be no true trust... and there will always be animosity... and "peaceful co-existance" would be difficult and maintainable only if distance is kept and respected...I f one has a belief that what the other is or has or desires is so wrong that another thinks it must be eliminated then there can be nothing but animosity.... that is the state of the relationship of Christianity and Judaism verses islam.....The Two of Abrahams God can co exist... the other, islam, can not. that is against islams core. the core of islam is to dominate... neither The Christians nore the Jews seek domination...

Thank you for pointing this out. Really the main difference between Muslims and Jews is that the Jews don't observe Jesus (and obviously Muhammad), but in most religious matters they are very similar. Judaism and Islam are both monotheistic. The same can't be said with Christianity and their Trinity of "gods."

Actually Islamic religion is more like Christiandom.
They both believe in heaven and hell and the earth is going to burn up. They believe in many Gods, where Christians have a triune God or 3 in one. Many prophets and holy men.
They both believe that Jesus was a holy man or prophet.
Jews believe in the old testiment and that Psalms 37:9,10,11 that the wicked will be destroyed and return to the dust.
the righteous will live forever on the earth. They believe that the earth rather than burn up will be here forever.
That heaven is a paradise earth. Or that they will have what Adam lost by disobedience. They do not believe that Jesus was the messiah. Or anything else for that matter.
So they are the most unlike any other religion.

as a matter of fact christianity, islam and judaism all have similar and compatible beliefs.
all religions listed have a foundation of evil and righteousness and people are taught to repent of sin and believe in God. To do good and that everyone will bejudged according to sin, and rewards of goodness will be given to those that are righteous.

both Judaism and Christianity are based on the torah. As for Islam, it has very little to do with Judaism, since Islam is trying to erradicate it. Stop lieing.

All the monotheistic religions teach the same lesson worshipping God and loving mankind.
As long as this lesson be practiced, religions atracted pure souls; when the lesson is forgotten, old religions fall into divisions and be replaced by the successive one.

Judaism was founded by many people over many years. Islam was founded by one person over a very short period.
Judaism was intent upon removing all the false gods out of their lands. Islam incorporated aspects of moon worship into their religion. It kept the Kaaba' and march around it just like the pagans did before them. It kept the holy rock in the Kaaba' just like the pagans that preceded it.

Christianity: One God.
Islam: One God.
Christianity: Jesus made prophecies.
Islam: Jesus was a prophet.
Christianity: Jesus will have a Second Coming.
Islam: Jesus will return with the Mahdi (sp?).
Christianity: Jesus was born of the virgin Mary.
Islam: Jesus was born of the virgin Miriam.
Those are just a few similarities between the Christian and Muslim faiths.

They are similar only in the fact that Muhammad stole his ideas from Judaism and Christianity and added hate.
