Well I was curios if anyone else thought about this. If it's real and some of the scientific preictions are correct about rising sea levels, famines, etc. I don't know if it is man causing it or it's a naturally occuring event or if it's God preparing for the end.

It seems if when the antichrist comes on the scene that things must be getting pretty bad, for people to turn to him. It just makes you wonder if this global warming (if it's real) is just preparing things for him. Because if he just has 7 years thats not much time for him to take over and for people to turn to him unless things are pretty bad when he comes on the scene.

Huh? Man's evil is the biblical explanation to the end of times. As for global warming, the facts are as follows:
1. Earth has always heated and cooled naturally.
2. We have been in a slight warming phase since the last ice age peaked about 13,000 years ago.
3. People like Al Gore want you to believe that this is caused by industrialization so that they can manipulate the public for ......$$$$$$
4. There is NO EVIDENCE that human activity has contributed to the 0.6 degree C increase in global temp (depending on who you ask) over the past 100 years or so.
5. There is no indication that a net warming trend is a negative for humans.
6. God is in control anyway, right? Don't worry.

Well, first off, scientists can't predict no more than you or I can about the changes in the earth or its atmosphere. I don't believe in the theory of global warming. God won't use anything to 'prepare' us for the end of the world. The bible says He will come like a thief in the night and no one will know at what day or hour He will return. To suggest that God is 'preparing' us for that day through global warming, it's nonsense. 1 Thessalonians 5:2, 3 - For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3 - For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon the, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 2 Peter 3:10 - But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Mark 13:30-33 - Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all tese things be done. 31 - Heaven and earth shall away: but my words shall not pass away. 32 - But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. 33 - Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.

If it's god, it could also be the easter bunny, santa claus, or papa smurf... Why would god even care about global warming, if he wanted us dead he would do it much more cataclysmically and dramatically. Remember every first son, remember the locusts, the frogs???? God has a flair for the dramatic and over-the-top, I don't think he would resort to something as mundane as global warming.

Wait did I say he??? God is a woman cuz she never tells you exactly what she wants you to do, everthing you do is wrong, you have to have her and no other god before her, and regardless of what you do, unless of course you're perfect, you're doomed to an eternity in hell if you mess up.

Not this Christian... the earth goes through a major global warming and then cooling extinction every 11,500 years. Unfortunately, we're at the tail end. However, if this warming really accelerates and does not meet the same footprint of the last extinctions, then I think you could make the case that God is intervening.... With how unholy the world is, can you blame Him?

Either that, or maybe it is just the natural progression of the earth!
In case you haven't studied your history of the world, the earths climate and physical make up have changed numerous times throughout history, and with the exception of dinosaurs, the creatures continuously adapted to the changes and continued to flourish.
Why would this "Global Warming" epidemic be any different? the climate is changing and we will continue to find ways to deal with it. It is not Armageddon, it is the natural course of things.

No one knows what is causing global warming. It could be pollution or it could be a natural course of action the earth undergoes every billion years. Do not listen to scientists who talk about doom and gloom and trust me that won't be happening in your life time so no need to worry.

global warming is occuring right now because of the pollution we put in the air. It has nothing at all to do with God or religion, it has to do with us and all factories, businesses, gas stations, etc all around the world putting gross and terrible pollution into the air, hurting our environment.

Great question. Our global warming and other
problems are caused by people. However
don't you think that God is giving us a little hint?
