Look at the similarities: - two other people executed as well, crowd jeering, everyone glad to be rid of this guy, the executed man staying true to his convictions. By God I hope they didn't kill an undeserving guy again

Absolutely not and you know it.

Christ GAVE his life for our sins. So we might enjoy ever lasting life. Christ is the son of the true God.

I see a similarity. Saddam, like Jesus Christ, was hated and maligned by some, but loved and revered by others. History will absolve Saddam, just as it absolved Christ.

Saddam was not Christ...He was a sinner killed for Crimes against humanity. He killed his own people..Jesus was sinless and killed for being the purest man that ever lived.

While I don't advocate killing in any fashion, Saddam was guilty while Jesus was not.

Jesus was not killed though...He gave his life for ours.

Matt

Do you ever read? Read the story of Saddam and discover the terror he inflicted on people. Read the Gospels in the Bible and tell me where Jesus ever did anything to hurt someone, especially children.

No there is a considerable difference. Jesus preached and lived kindness and personal and social accountability. Saddam murdered people for tyranny. He would have murdered you too if you annoyed him. Ever consider that?

Get real. Saddam was a murderer, adulterer fornicator, and just down right mean, Jesus was kind, generous, poor, forgiving, never harmed anyone. How can you even think such a thing and I am Wiccan, not christian.

Saddam quicker faster than he deserved. A slow crucifixion would have been more fitting to his crimes.
