I lived in Seattle for a good 20 years before I moved to LA, California. I have been to Oregon many times and think it's a lovly city. However, I have to say Washington because Washington has an International airport, Sea-Tac Airport and Washington feels less hick; although both states feel quite hick. Washington also borders Canada. I love Vancouver, Canada and to be able to hop in a car and be in Canada in 2 hours is a wonderful bonus. However, Oregon has no sales tax and the air is better and traffic is still relatively light. I guess if you put a gun to my head, I would have to say Washington. Good luck.

I don't understand what you mean by, "I like the country whith state has more".

Washington and Oregon are states that are culturally diverse. They are not states that have only white people, if that's what you mean. I know because I live in Washington.

Washington has a sales tax, Oregon has an income tax and higher property taxes. Works out to be close to a wash in the end, unless you plan on buying a lot of cars and furniture.

Personally, I'd have a hard time deciding between them. I was born and raised in Washington, but have lived in Oregon a couple of times. I like Portland, but prefer the southern coast. Seattle is fine, but traffic is highly irritating there.

the two are wonderful. I used to stay in Seattle this is exceptional. The ecosystem and having Puget sound genuine there is unmatched. yet you could not beat Portland. the reward of living interior the suburbs of Portland are innumerable. no longer having revenues tax is exceptional. The ecosystem and trekking trails are surprising if this is your element. regardless of the undeniable fact that the city at situations could be somewhat over the side to the left, so which you should communicate, the full west coast could be that way at situations. I reccomend the two the southeast suburbs of Portland like Oregon city and the nicer aspects of Miluakie, or, no count number if it somewhat is on your funds, Lake Oswego. Portland has the final mix of small city and massive city which you will hit upon everywhere. gasoline fees are in many situations somewhat greater reasonably priced in Oregon and finding artwork is easier additionally. i understand an extremely good genuine assets agent in case you desire additionally. I surely have lived in Oregon city for 10 years and in no way had a criticism relating to the area. the colleges are ultimate tier and the close by activities communities play with pastime. it somewhat is unmatchable.

There is no state income tax in Washington State, but in parts of the state you will never see the sun. Weather stinks big time. Housing cost are out of sight. But if you're coming from California then you will think $250,000 is bargain.

Both places are too cold as far as I'm concerned. I'd rather have some place with sunshine and warm weather.

Both about the same. Washington gets even more rain than Oregon, and it gets colder there as well (particularly Eastern Washington).

Washington. You have to pay sales tax, but schools here in WA are way better. In Oregon they have messed up schools. Oregon has to pay way more property taxes. WA, and OR, have about the same scenery. Both with beautful rivers and green mountains.
