I know a guy who runs a cafe near my work that works in the USA about 8 months then goes to Mexico for about 4 months of vacation.
He works hard and is funny and I enjoy talking to him about some things.
He is pretty much as you describe though.
he doesnt say crude things that they can hear but.
Well he has a wife and 4 kids in teh USA, a girlfriend and 2 kids in Mexico, another ex and 3 kids as well. And tells me about several other women he suspects he has kids with but he has lost track of them.
He tells me about whorehouses he goes to when he goes to Mexico as well and while we talk he will eyeball and make comments about women.
I know the ladies will say all men do it ... most men will look... some of them will continue to stare... and some of those will whistle or make crude comments.
Hispanic men it just seems much more common for them to do it.
btw what kinda name is vanilla hips....

When I took Spanish in high school in the early 80's, we took a trip to Mexico. Our teacher, who was from Mexico, told us that the men in Mexico live their lives in a very 'macho' way. Machismo, she called it. And when we went to Mexico, we saw it. Crossing the street in front of cars without slowing down, as if daring the cars to hit them. Confronting other men over little things, sometimes coming to blows. And treating their women very chauvinistically (probably misspelled).
Of course, it's not just the latin people, but it looked like it was a part of their culture.

They do that because in Mexico or any other place look at how they treat their women they are dogs to them. Just look back at them and tell them that their mothers are wonderful in bed even if you are a woman it works they just clam up. I have had to deal with alot of them.

Not only women. I've seen them saying things about young girls,teens. Pretty girls but man it makes me want to know why their girlfriends, or wives could be with a man like that.

In Mexico, women consider it flattering for men to whistle and make comments to them as they walk by. Mexican guys don't realize or don't care that american women are offended by this. They don't care to learn our cultures or our language...and why should they have to...they have free reign here.

Because they mistakenly believe that they are macho men. They really need to learn some manners and stop trying to mask their own insecurities.
