Mountain Dew itself doesn't make you fat. However, to much of anything with sugar will start making you gain weight.
If you want some, drink it in moderation and it shouldn't affect your weight.

Any product with highly concentrated amounts of sugar has the capability to increase body fat when eaten/drunk in access. If you are drinking copious amounts of Mountain Dew, you may gain weight.

Yes it can. It has over 150 calories per can. I have a friend who quit drinking pop and lost 20 pounds in 1 1/2 months without doing anything else different.

The diet Mountain Dew won`t if you don`t mind all the chemicals in it.Otherwise one regular one every now and then won`t hurt.Moderation is the key with everything!Take care!

Yes, though you would think that with the instant sugar high and you moving a thousand miles a second you would burn it off. The last time I drank some I couldn't fall asleep, just so hyper.

Yes. Any carbonated, sugary beverage will make you gain weight. But if you exercise and don't drink it in excess, you will not gain weight.

Drinking too much soda period adds unneccessry calories to anyone's diet.

Diet sodas have zero calories.
