All of this has to do with perspective and what type person you are. Some say it's better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all. They say you learn from one relationship and feel love which is better than never knowing what love feels like. To me knowing how bad it feels to no longer have that love I liken it to an addiction of drugs and alcohol. If you never took them you wouldn't know what it's like to miss them. Nothing feels worse than to be in love with someone and not getting that love returned back......NOTHING. Of all the loves I've had in life and lost I have learned a lot. But I would easily take never losing and being a little less smart. It sucks when everything reminds us of that person, every song sounds like it was written for the two of you and you feel incomplete without that person around. There is no easy answer in moving on and answers sound crappy when you feel like you do. But someone else will come along and the pain you feel will be replaced with love for that person. You can get rid of all the things that remind you of him, cry your eyes out (actually crying is good for you for some reason but don't give yourself a headache.) and sit around moping. But the best thing to do is get out and do something. Exercise is great for clearing your head and hanging out with friends will usually lift your spirits. Don't necessarily go looking for a new love, but be open to it if it comes looking for you. I assure you in five years you'll wonder what you got so upset about.

Well first off try calming down for a bit!!! Well try maby seeing someone else who feels for u.Try focusing on your new boy and not your ex-boyfriend.Maby theres a guy out there who likes you alot and wants to spend time with u.Remember that crying over a guy will not help you need to try to move on.I now deep inside it hurts and u dont want to move on but the more u dont the more depressed u get.If u love him so much and u think u cant move on without him i would suggest u go talk to him and tell him how u feel and if he dont feel the same then move on!!!!!!!Good luck i really hope my advice works.

You have to change your frame.
We can not delete our thoughts and memories but we do have full control over them, how we react to them, and how they are viewed.
You have to think of those memories as a phase, or a season learning. It was good for a time, and now are better equipted for what ever is next, while being thankful/positive about what ever you had....know that it will only get bettter.
You just have to change the way you view those memories.

The more you try to get rid of those memories, the longer they'll stay. Try to understand that it is over, that everything was nothing but a stage in your life, a stage that helped you grow, helped you gain experience and helped you appreciate life. Try to understand that this world offers a wide variety of human beings and that it is not advisable to get stuck in the past. The past is dead... Do you want to die along with it?

like i said before.. you can't do all of those things you mentioned.. you just gotta let it all heal. if he was the love of your life.. he will always be there deep down inside.. regardless whether or not you find someone new or not... its really hard i know becuz i was with someone for two years and all of a sudden .. its gone. and everything you do or say or see reminds you of you two together... but trust me.. it takes time for you to forget that person.. and you will end up forgetting about him.. you just gotta let yourself. time will heal everything.. hope everything works out.

You have to move on and find a new love of your life . But time will help increase the distance. The feelings will eventually fade but you will always have a small memory of him. You just have to move on

As they say time heals all wounds, but if you really loved someone you will never forget them. I still think of women I dated in High School that was 30 years ago.

you can never delete anyone completely, however you can try and stay busy ...do anything to keep them off your mind and eventually the pain will slowly go away unfortunately this is a very slow process...

just keep living your life. keep yourself busy. don't try to suppress the feelings, just learn to accept and deal with them. you'll meet somebody else. hang in there. chalk this one up as a learning experience, and a reference for self-improvement.
