It is not. In Psalm 104: 14-15, King David writes that God gave us wine in order to "gladden the heart of man." In Matthew 11:19, Christ makes the point that his enemies called him a drunkard because he drank wine with the party animals of his day. And, of course, at the beginning of Christ's ministry, his first miracle was the turning of water into wine, and his last act before being crucified was to share bread and wine with his followers, what we call the "last supper." If Christ was God, as the Bible claims, then God drinks alcohol - enough to be called a drunkard by his detractors.

it is written that the drunkard will not enter the kingdom of God.
but what is not written is that man will suffer from Poisons that intoxicate the mind and the body beyond what drunkeness is described as.
Sometimes a little alchohol is the same thing as medication.
prescription drugs are exactly the same thing as being intoxicated but theoretically the Panaceia of being unrighteously poisoned.
as for jesus turning water into wine, I would ask you to find proof that the wine was alchoholic in any way. !!!
what is written can only determine that it was Good in flavor and better than all the rest.
New wine is non alcholic by the way!

When a person becomes born again, their body no longer belongs to them to do with as they choose because it is the temple of the Holy Ghost. You cannot drink alcohol and be a Christian.
New wine-From H3423 in the sense of expulsion; must or fresh grape juice (as just squeezed out); by implication (rarely) fermented wine: - (new, sweet) wine.
1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
God is particular when we are to ingest things into our temple body as Christians. Things that are considered to be "unclean" we are not to eat, or drink.
When Jesus turned the watur into "wine" it was new wine, which is new grape juice. fermented grapejuice or alcohol as we know it is spoiled and not to be drank. It causes our guard to drop and then people's judgement is impared which cause people to commit sins they would most likely not have committed with out it and be a Christian.
Alcohol causes minds to become clouded and impared to where they cannot make good judgement calls and choices which is what satan likes, because it caused Christians to fall short of God's glory. Chrisitans are not to drink alcochol.
Galatians 5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
It is a sin to drink alcohol.

Jesus clearly talks about wine, it was the custom to drink wine in that country and that time. Drinking to get drunk is a sin.

Of course not. It's only a sin when you get drunk. I think it's a sin to get drunk because when people are drunk they do stupid things and can hurt or kill themselves and other people. A little wine or beer every once and a while can even be good for you.

Jesus said nothing against drinking alcohol.
Paul once asked his fellow travelers to drink some wine tor their spirits' sake.
Anything done in excess...be it drinking or gluttony is an abomination.

if it is I'm on a one way trip to hell one beer at a time...
seriously they drank wine back then because it was hard to find truly clean water. The alcohol killed the bacteria (and also provided them with a nice buzz)

Even the Christian Scriptures, in Timothy, encourage wine for the stomach's sake. They knew it had health benefits back then, too!

God said do not be drunk with wine, he never said we couldn't drink it.
Being drunk causes the lines between right and wrong to be blurry, we need to be coherent, and fully understand the choices we are making.
