Why does the girlfriend/wife get mad at the other woman but they do not get mad at the husband/boyfriend. Like the first thing a wife would do is go after and try to harm the other woman. Then stay with the man who cheated on her? Of course i am to blame because i knew he was married but he married her he betrayed her he lied to her. why only go after me?

i think intially when it happens, it is very easy to blame the other woman..the wife or girlfriend is looking for a quick blame without sitting down and considering the fact that they may have been the cause or a big reason why someone cheated...not that i advocate cheating or anything but i think thats why..they want a quick fix or fixation to put their anger/frustration on......

Because they love their husband or bf and they have an emotional connection with them and a history. The other person is a stranger, an evil interloper a slut, a ***** *** whore. Its easier to take all the anger out on them. Afterwards its the deep hurt your left with, and all the questions. The insecurity and a feeling of loss. I think the anger towards the husband and bf come as the last emotion, but women do at some point get very angry at them too. The husband made a choice to cheat, and you gave him the opportunity. If it was not you it would have been someone else. Just think about it, if you were the one cheated on, wouldn't you want to go after the other woman?

My heavens, I never have been flashed, but I did unintentionally flash a few folks once. I was in the hospital some time back and decided to take a stoll to the vending area. Well, I wasn't thinking about what I was wearing and, let's just say that those hospital gowns don't leave a lot to the imagination on the backside. The nurse came up from behind me and put a blanket over my shoulders . . . I was wondering why it was a little drafty back there!

You just answered you own question, we women do this because you are the easiest target, you are the first we look at and yes we will hunt you down and hurt you and don't even think about our boyfriends or husbands at all...But you are right we never tend to put the blame on the boyfriend or the husband and why is that? We don't want to put ourselves in the squared circle with them, we don't want to cause ourselves problems for example if we hit them what the outcome will be like or say somthing that might push him right on out there to you, and another thing men don't worry about that because men don't worry about all the superficial junk and they really don't worry about you doing anything to them because they know you cannot unless you catch them in there sleep or something, But the fact of the matter is that even though you know the out come you know you will be the target and men/boyfriends know it and of course the wives/girlfriends know it as well.

To keep yourself out of that kind of stuff just don't make yourself that visible to be caught ...If you are going to play the game be smart and play the game right.

Ha-Ha-Ha...... Because no woman wants to loose their husband to another woman. It's now a competition you are her enemy. She will win him back make sure he hates you and never speaks to you then when he least expects it she will leave him. So don't think she will only go after you. At least your the quick kill. The man is a long drawn out 6 months to a year of pure hell and in the end he looses everything anyway.

I've actually never understood that either - both parties are equally at fault. I think it's that it's much easier to blame someone you don't know (or at least someone you don't know as well as a spouse) than to blame the cheating spouse because it's sort of self-protection. If she gives her husband the anger and blame he deserves, she's admitting that her trust was misplaced, and in turn that she maybe isn't as good a judge of character as she thought.

It impacts her more psychologically if she blames him. And if she just blames you, it helps her to excuse his behaviour and possibly forgive him. It might not make any logical sense, but that seems to be the way it works.

She's emotionally attached to her husband. Not to you. So it makes sense (at least emotionally) to attack the "outsider" instead of the person she shares her life with.

Anyway. She has the right to be mad at you. Maybe she is blaming her husband as well, and you don't know about it. It's none of your business how she handles things with her husband. Now stop going after married men.

usually because before she knew of the affair she thought what she had was solid,,it may have been 'normal' and maybe a little unexciting but it was her life,,hers and her husbands and to go from love to hate without break is not something we are made to do,,she doesnt know,(hopefully) the mistress so it is easier to blame her,,she seduced him,she made a play for him knowing he was married hence it is all your fault.the hatred and betrayal comes after the knowing what/where/who but you are not there to see it and she will not allow you the satisfaction of knowing you have caused this upset.he will become HER man,he will become something you will not take from her,he will become someone to fight for because she was there first.and usually he will return to her purely because she has found out and he has to make it right.it has to be said,,the majority of men who stay with their mistress only do so because the wife has told him to go!

well i agree with you that the woman should get mad at the man becuase he is the one who did the cheating. but also the messed up thing is that you knew he was married. first be mad at the man though.

You knew the man was married yet you went ahead with the relationship of course you are to blame and what is wrong with you that you can't get a man of your own is stealing the man make him sweeter.

I have always wondered the same and when I ask people I get lame responses like.... well you know, men can't help themselves. That is basically saying that men are subhuman savages that only are driven by urges. That gets men off the hook, but it also insults their intelligence. The old "boys will be boys" but "women are sluts." I don't buy it and I don't like it one bit.
