I've been bleaching my hair really light blond for about a year I've decided that i want to bleach my hair dark brown. If i use a permanent dark brown dye from a box will the blond come through or will it be ok. I want to avoid getting it done professionally because its way more expensive.

As long as you use a warm based hair color you should be fine. Stay away from any cool or ash tones or it will look green. It will fade very fast because of all the bleaching you have done, but as long as you redo your hair with the same color and brand about every 4-6 weeks it will start to retain the color.

First you don't bleach your hair to go dark.
You should use a semi perm color that best matches your new growth.

Don't go too dark as if you change your mind it will lighten up.
This is something you will have to do till the blond hair grows out.
Be sure to use a color that is Natural no ash or you will be a dark blue smurf.

Good Luck

First of all dark brown will turn out black...Its always a shade darker when you first do it...But it will fade out really fast of you've been bleaching...Bleaching removes color and coloring/dyeing adds color....You may need to do it several times before it really "takes"

I have done this before. If you do it from a box, it will come out kind of green. But, a week after you dye it, dye it again and it will come out more like the box color.

Your hair will imediatly take the the recent shade. it won't pass crimson. even nonetheless, you will mostlikly could die your hair back in 6 weeks given which you had suck a easy shade earlier it is going to vanish. not all the blond will desire to hold the recent shade. even nonetheless, it would. even nonetheless it will be very darkish from what the bottle says given which you're so easy. stable success:D

It should be ok as long as you get a good quality dye. (Try Garnier Nutrisse or Loreal.)

You will need to use a red filler so that your hair will not go green.
