It’s just I am a 24 year old guy. I am not religious, but I believe in being sensible. So that is the reason I would like to wait for marriage to have sex, with someone special. What I would like to ask is, as it is very rare these days for people to wait for marriage to have sex, because in this day and age, more, and more people are open to sex. If you were a open person, when it comes to sex, and you fell in love with someone who only wanted to have sex with one person, someone special would you wait? It’s just I always worry, when I do go out with a girl, how she would react if she wasn’t like me, in wanting to wait till marriage.

Oh, I like you.
Just so you know, it is rare to find someone who's waiting till marriage, even rarer if they're male.
I have the highest respect for people that wait. And if i fell in love with someone who wanted to wait till marriage, I'll wait. Sex should not be something a makes a relationship...

If the girl isn't prepared to wait until marriage then shes not worth bothering with, its as simple as that, don't change your ways simply because your girl might have different beliefs to yours.

You're better off finding someone who is a virgin and believes that no sex until marriage is the right idea.

You're only 24, still young, in this generation people aren't getting married until thier 30's so don't start thinking you have no chance in finding someone in your life.

I know that the percentage of people who wait til marriage is low, but that doesn't mean there isn't someone out there for you.

Yes. I would wait. I lost my virginity pretty young but if i had to do it over i would wait till I found the right person. Someone who loved and cared for me. Then, when we get married the sex will be much wanted and more satisfying becuase you waited. Other than that, sex is just sex. SO I think you're a great man for waiting!

I think it is very sweet and respectful of you to wait until marriage. Too bad many people don't think the way you do. If a girl loves you completely then she will understand your thoughts and if she is the right one she will appreciate it.I didn't wait, but, if I had to do it all over again I would of waited . I think it is becoming more popular with all of the STD's out there , I think in a few years that many will wait until marriage, it is the wise thing to do. Good Luck to you!

yes i would wait because when you love someone that much you are prepared to do anything for that person and want making love to be as special as it can be, which is even more exciting when it is anticipated.
your right though it is quite rare as far as i know to find a woman that would wait for marriage. but i think your opinion towards the subject is lovely and i would say just to be patient and hopefully the right person will come along.

people are different. many thinks that sex is a way of showing love to their partner. For them it is a way of sharing their feelings to their loved ones. But some people think that sex is sacred that have to be done by married couple only.
It depends on you. Depends on a person and i agree with you it has to be done after marriage but im not against who do it out of wedlock. Everyone one has the right to do it whenever they want to. Dont worry theres someone there 4 u.

ITS SO GREAT THAT UR WAITING but like u said "this day and age" its pretty weird especially 4 a guy!! well i ve been in that situation i am not very open about sex i wait at the least 4 months! well i had a bf who was a virgin and waitin 4 the "SPECIAL ONE" and when it was not me i was mad and felt hurt like i wasnt good enough!! also the fact he the guy did not wanna have sex made me want to so much more,i felt like i was beggin HIM to have sex with ME like some hoe! it was just horrible!! so if she enjoys sex and u dont want it, it eventually will not work out!! AND IF U ARE PURE WOULDNT U WANT SOMEONE PURE IN RETURN ANYWAY??!*****p.s. everyone is sayin if they loved u they would wait til whenever BUT also if they loved u that would make them want to be intimate with u more! to be closer and to feel each other to share a part of yourself with another person to trust u enough and care 4 u enough to let u inside of them (just a thought)

I think if that person loved you they would take your feelings into consideration. If they shared your views then fine - if they didn't then they wouldn't stay with you if that wasn't how they felt about sex before marriage. What you choose to do is entirely up to you and I wish you the best of luck finding that special someone.

I think you have to be as clear as possible with the girl you're with. Just as long as she knows why you're not having sex with her that's fine- otherwise us girls start blaming ourselves and thinking you don't fancy us!
It is an unusual choice nowadays, but all the better for that. Any decent woman will be impressed by your integrity and the fact you're not just having sex to brag about it to your mates! It may prove difficult if she doesn't have the same idea, but there are plenty of girls out there who think the same way, and plenty more who would be willing to forgo the sex for the sake of being with a decent guy!

sex is not something that should make or break a relationship
if the girl didn't want to wait till marriage then she wasn't in love with you to begin with..if she does love you then she will be more then willing to wait for you...
don't settle for anything less...
