Go to a Bookstore under the heading of couples and purchase, "101 Nights of Grrreat Romance: Secret Sealed Seductions for Fun-Loving Couples", (Paperback)
by Laura Corn. It would be a great valentines gift and it is fun because there are all kinds of suggestions for romance and the surprise is that each scenario is kept a secret by the other until the actual time. There is a sense of expectation that many would remember from the first part of dating you loved one. Where you get butterflys in your stomach and you just have to see them. Have fun with it.

You can't make anyone be something they are not. You can't go into a relationship trying to change a person. And if you convince the person to change, the change will only be temporary. If you want romance in your live, you are a romantic, and you should date a person who shares your feelings. Life is beautiful and you deserve to be happy, I don't wish to be negative, but please don't get dragged into a relationship that requires changes. My wife and I are both hopeless romantics and I agree with you that romance gives life a special glow. I wish you the best.

you have to start the engine first, and everything will follow. we reap what we sow. Sneak into his room and post an I LOVE YOU note on his mirror, give him a slow, scented massage just for relaxation, invite him for coffee as a treat, set a stargazing trip to the mountains, you know stuff likes those. If after all that effort, he is still that stone-hearted, you’d better think twice about him.

-give him something good in bed, and he'll repay you by being sweet
-simply ask him to be more romantic
-tell him to tell you how much he loves you a lot
