I don't have cable and want to watch TV online (espically the cooking channel)

No, not really. There are limited channels available for watching on the Internet, and they are all here:

Do NOT buy any of those programs out there that claim they will give you TV for free - they just give you links that you can get for free from those sites above.

If you are interested in some mainstream content, then there are two things available:

i just found this place, it actually has online TV for free, but mostly news channels and public channels.

HERE IS MORE INFO:
Heres another place I just found that has movies and TV shows. Full episodes that you can click on and watch for free.
I just watched a 3rd season Battlestar Galactica Episode.
It has thousands of movies, TV shows, Anime, ect. videos
No cooking channels, just pre-recorded shows. The only way you can get actual quality television is to have a pay service.

Personally, I watch TV shows from the web site www.fanpop.com. I'm not sure if they have cooking programs. Check it out.
