what is better gas or battery airsoft guns? i say gas but if it is how much better.

i own both and for a skrmish i would go with a aeg. a good aeg compnies are ics, tokyo marui, classic army, and utg. make sure they have metal gear box dont get a plastic gear box. why i choose an aeg over an gas gun because it is renewable. all you have to do is recharge the battery. with gas you have to buy bottles for about $10. my gas gun is hitting around 270 fps and my aeg is about 310 fps. plus my aeg holds more like 400 in a mag and my gas gun holds 26 in a mag. i like to use my gas gun just for plinking around and for a back up.

Gas guns are usually better made, and shoot more powerfully and accurately. Battery or electric guns are typically plastic and are lesser quality and have lower velocities. For a serious air soft shooter a gas gun would be the way to go. But for a "backyard shooter" a electric gun would be a good option because of the cheaper price.

depends what your looking for. 90% of pistols are gas. 90% of assualt rifles are electric. Gas once used is gone. Battery can be recharged. Gas hurts more. Electric steady until last shot. Gas can freeze your hand. Electirc can... yeah.

it depends on what you need it to do. gas guns are usually more powerful than their electric counter parts but you'll rarely see any gas gun other than a pistol or sniper rifle. however i do not recomend these sniper rifles because they are normally bordering on *too* powerful and people will not want to play with you.
electric guns are not as strong stock but some of the higher end ones can be modified to be almost as powerful the gas and have a much higher rate of fire. the only gas guns that are automatic are uzi's and some glocks (there are a few rifles but they are extremely rare and quite expensive)
personally i recoment electrics for any rifle but a sniper, i prefer spring on sniper rifle but for a handgun side arm look into gas.

gas is better than battery
green gas is more pawerfull for airsoft guns.
Green Gas is the propellant typically used to drive Gas Blow Back Airsoft guns, consisting of propane with small amounts of silicone oil added. Some brands may advertise their product as Green Gas, or refer to it as "Ultra Green Gas", "Xtreme Green Gas" or similar, when in fact the propellant is not Green Gas/propane.

OMG!!! GAS IS SOOOO MUCH BETTER. at dickssportinggods.com right now, they have the Crosman Stinger Tactical Soft Air Gun Kit which comes with a co2 pistol for like 60 bucks, and its goes 350 fps, way better than a cheap spring pistol
