disorder. Plus hep C. The guards and doctors dont care about him at all. (Obviosly!) They dont give him anything nutritious like veggie's and fruit. They dont give him vitamin's and supplement's which I believe he strongly needs to stay semi healthy with his Hep C. And they want on put him on drugs for his depression. The problem with that is they could give him anything they want and we'll have no idea what hes taking. Because I'm not with him I cant moniter how he's doing to make sure that what he's taking is actually helping him and not making him worse. My boyfriend has many issues one of them is not standing up for himself he let's other people walk all over him. And I'm not there to help. Im afraid he wont make it through this. He's been in for a year and has another year to go. Any suggestions? The people who work at the jail dont try to help they are all liars. My boyfriend was wrongly accused and had a really bad lawyer. He shouldn't be in there! But there is nothing I can do.

You know some of you people have no souls. If you really care about someone you dont just sit and do nothing about a bad situation. You people dont know why hes in there and have no right to judge.

A doctors opinion does no good cause there not the ones in the jail. I was looking ror real advice from someone whos been there. Not someone who thinks their better than others. It could happen to you. I think you'd want someone to help you if you needed it.

Can you get a book to him? There are quite a few good ones for anxiety and depression and it sounds like he has a lot of time for reading. "Feeling Good" is one such book. "Mind Over Mood" is another. You could also encourage him to keep a journal...although I don't know how popular that's going to make him in the slammer. Relaxation tapes would also be great for him too...if he can have access to those things.

Everyone who is in jail says they are innocent. I don't get good veggies or fruit either and Im not a criminal so I do not feel bad for your friend, he is in jail for a reason if he has to spend 2 years there. I don't want to be mean but, you sound like his mother and not a girlfriend. There is nothing you can do at this point, just let him do his time the only thing that I would suggest is to get a Dr.s opinion on your boyfriend's problems and see what the Dr. says and let the guy grow up.

Goldielocks, Hep C, depression, anxiety and jail? I am sorry but they all match up together pretty well, that it is hard for me to believe that he is actually wrongly accused. Maybe he is for this particular incident, but you know what happens with certain lifestyle choices.
I could be wrong, but I want you to remove your blind folds and think outside the box for a day or two, and do not feel bad if your brain tells you to run.
I have seen it before, wives and Girlfriends standing by their men, but when their men are out, promises are broken and so are hearts. Just be careful.
