It makes your reaction system more used to crying therefore if you cry it may make you feel better at first as it is not a normal emotion but long term it will make you emotionally weak as well as hurt alot easier

When one cries it trigger the brain to release a chemical that actually calms the body and mind. That is why some time one may say "I cried myself to sleep" This is actually a very accurate statement . Crying enough can get the body and mind relaxed enough to go to sleep. In other words ,tears are the body's Valium!

Yes. Sometimes when I'm sad I feel a need to cry & so I'll watch a tear jerker. But when I'm depressed due to my bi-polar disorder nothing works for me including my medication. I just have to wait for it to pass.

yeppers!!!! but I cant cry in front of my 7 month old daughter because she will start crying.......... it is actually really funny but I also think it is sad. I like to cry, it makes me feel like everything is off my shoulders then. MAKE ME CRY!!!! Heck, right now, crying seems like a routine, I am really EMO since I am 5 months pregnant!

Eventually, yes. Once my head stops throbbing! Crying is very good for you, and relieves a lot of tension.
I cry a lot (not by choice, it's just my way of dealing with emotions); when I'm angry, happy, sad, frustrated and tired. It can be a bit of a nuisance, but it is a good way of dealing with 'stuff'.
Works for me anyway!!

It makes me feel better when I'm sad. It releases the feeling. Gets it out of my system. It is better for you than keeping it all inside

Yes, it triggers a chemical reaction in your body in return it makes you loose some stress etc... Besides this chemical reaction their is also an emotional reaction, when you show your pain an let it go it could have a positive emotional effect.
