Who gets that job?

My mate Ploppy Pete does this job,maybe job isn't the right word,he works at the sewerage plant.
As the flow from peoples toilets arrives at the plant he is there waiting for it in his long wellies he stands in the flow.,he says gloves are useless, you have to have a feel for the job and sift the paper through your fingers.
He pulls out all the paper and fills buckets with it, this is then sent off to be cleaned and recycled.
I rang him once when he was at work and he answered his mobile, dropped it, picked up what he thought was his mobile and held it to his ear, well it was the same shape as he said.Trouble was, he never noticed it wasnt his mobile until he was in a restaurant and was asked by his wife if she could borrow his phone to check on the babysitter.
So thats how they recycle toilet paper, it's all done by Ploppy Pete.......True.

They don't recycle toilet paper all the paper that is flushed down the toilet is sent to digesters where it biodegrades naturally (albeit with a little help).
Toilet paper is infact made with recycled general use paper, the main reason why they can't use toilet paper is the strands within the toilet paper are too smashed up and therefore cannot be used again without using a chemical process which is more harmful to the environment

It's not made from old toilet paper lol, just made from recycled paper and what not.

I don't think they do, unless you put you're old toilet paper in the recycling bin? It goes down the loo where it just sort of biodegrades.

If it says its recycled they dont mean from old toilet paper. just from newspaper or scrap paper or whatever.

Thousands of low paid third world people carefully scrape all the dodah off the paper then it is lightly rinsed and placed in large dryers then repaxkaged and sold to you at 1000% mark up.
