We had just started dating, but he told me where he hid the key to his house. So while he was at his former sister-in-law's for SuperBowl, I made a HUGE pan of rigatoni in a tomato sauce with Italian sausage, and topped with tons of cheese. I thought it would be great for him to take for lunch at work. I was going to drop it off in his fridge and leave.
Well, the pan (which is heavy and I'd just bought it that day!) was hot, but I wanted to get it to his house in time. While I was trying to juggle it on my balcony, it slipped and I dumped 1/3 of it onto the landing and the lawn below...which was my landlady's! (She yelled at me the next morning.)
I got it over to his house, in the dark, and couldn't find the key! So I'm still juggling a hot, heavy pan in the dark. No key. I went back home and tossed this miserable looking dish in the fridge.
Long story about why the key wasn't there, but we got married a couple years ago!

Tuna casserole. It replaced into nasty. I had in no way cooked earlier so, I made Kraft Macaroni & Cheese and only extra a can of tuna. Gee, i could not even boil water as quickly as we've been given married. We had a chum devour with us each night and that i made this alot. humorous element is that each night as quickly as we sat all the way down to devour the comparable music could come on the radio. The music replaced into as undesirable as my cooking. we would all initiate guffawing and making a music it. (mamma mia, mama mia, mama mia enable me pass-an previous opera sounding rock music). For 30 years I make it this way now: 8 oz..cooked, drained egg noodles 2 cans (6 a million/2 oz.) tuna, drained or sparkling steamed tuna a million a million/2 cups bitter cream 3/4 cup milk a million can sliced mushrooms (3 oz.), drained a million a million/2 tsp salt a million/4 tsp pepper. Stir all that jointly and pour into an ungreased 2 quart casserole dish. mixture: 2 Tbs melted butter a million/4 cup Itallian bread crumbs (Progresso), or undeniable a million/4 cup grated parmesan cheese Sprinkle that on suitable and bake in a 350 diploma oven , uncovered, for approximately 35/40 mins.

I attempted to make a very simple hotdish that my mom made sometimes when I was a kid. You make macaroni and cheese just like it says on the box. You brown some ground beef and then add a can of cream of mushroom soup to it. Then you add the macaroni and cheese to that.
When I made it, I made the macaroni and cheese like it said on the box. I made the soup just like it says on the can. I added it all to the ground beef. I didn't realize that I was supposed to just add the contents of the soup can. So, the final product was very watery and disgusting. I cried like a baby. I called my mom and asked her what I did wrong. After she told me, I felt so stupid.
My boyfriend felt really bad for me. He told me that the hotdish was really good and he ate it anyway!!! I was so embarrassed.
But everthing turned out ok. We have been married for over 3 years now. I have made the hotdish correctly for him several times. Now he loves it and begs me to make it.

Save a few curls from the back of one of the squares of chocolate;

over low heat; add the remaining chocolate and stir the mixture
until smooth. Spoon the glaze over the prepared cheesecake and
garnish it with the reserved curls.
