Are Christians today being discriminated against
by those trying to remove all symbols and songs
of the Christian faith? Will their next move be the
removal of all churches because people can see
them from the street? Maybe in the future, we
Christians will be fed to the lions. Are we getting
overcome by the evil ones?

the thing is our country was founded on christianity, and know theretaking prayer out of school, trying to take in god we trust off the money. now i understant that everyone has freedom of religion, so why take away OUR freedom of religion. by taking everything religious out of everything, banning churches whatever, thats taking OUR freedom of religion away. no one is forcing anyone to join a church or to believe in GOD.

if this is the future of america then when that happens it will be a sad day. no matter what happens in time, christians will always be perscuted no matter what, because there will always be at least one person that wont understand our faith.

Part of the history of America centers on the struggle from religious domination, even within this country. My brother, an atheist, was discriminated against at work because he refused to pretend to be a Christian and take part in prayers and religious services. Discrimination is wrong on both sides. Maybe we are becoming the evil ones, I don't know. I wish my brother was a Christian but I wouldn't want him to pretend and neither would God.btw, he sued and won. And he was right.

LOL @ christian bashing, if anyone is doing the bashing here its christians vs other christians and non christians, its almost a joke when christians claim theyre being persecuted or bashed, because theyve been doing it for centuries, payback truly is a b*tch.

Are Christians today being discriminated against
by those trying to remove all symbols and songs
of the Christian faith? Hmm, as a Pagan I can tell that you have no experience in real persecution do you dear? I wear my Pagan necklaces at work but im forbidden to even talk about my beliefs, while christians bring bibles into my work envornment Im not allowed to bring in Paganism books, tell me another lie please I need a good laugh.

PS ive had seven accounts banned because some christians didnt like what I had to say and you have the gall to say YOURE BEING persecuted? GROW UP! seriously!

Whoa - stop right there.

First off my answer - no.

Are you feeling persecuted? Put upon? Run down? Oppressed? Any or all of those things.

Well, there's good news - YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE! You see, in order to be persecuted, you have to believe that you are being persecuted. Just because secular society is making the holiday season more generic doesn't mean that soon people will be rioting and burning your churches down. That's a bit of a stretch.

Persecution is a choice of the individual. I could feel persecuted if I wanted to but I choose not to - therefore no one ever persecutes me, it's great. No matter where I go I am accepted and loved.

Christians are not discriminated against. Christians do the persecution. wiccans cannot wear their pentacle on most jobs, but the christian can wear the cross. Schools let kids wear Crosses, but deny the same right to Wiccan children. Just this last few weeks was a Wiccan soldier granted a pentacle on his grave through the efforts of his wife and it took three years of legal battles.

Christians can gather in public parks and pray and hold services without being bothered, but in some cities if Wiccans do this Christians will gather and sing, pray and tell the worshipers of Wicca they are going to hell.

Is this fair? Is this okay with you? do you really think Christians are persecuted? If so you have been listening to the wrong people.

This is over-dramatization at its best. The Christians where I live are in no way persecuted, repressed, supressed, etc. They are the majority. You can't see the trees for all the churches in this place. Nothing is going to change that.

True Christianity has no symbol anyway that they use, they've always been against idolatry. Jesus and his followers didn't have a symbol.

Yeah Christians have it real bad, try reading the "world" section of your local newspaper and see which religions are getting it bad.

Aww the poor misunderstood christians.
The fact is, the better the education and the higher the IQ, the less the tolerance for your childish cult.
I've counted 6 churches being demolished in my area in the last 8 years and everytime it happens I feel that the collective IQ of the world has gone up a few points.

Yes, you are being discriminated against...BY ME!

Why? Because the Christian church is attempting to tell me how to live my life. They are attempting to force Church laws into the government to FORCE me to live my life the way THEY want me to.

I sort of have a serious problem with that. You know???
