You don't. You earn their trust by doing work and showing you care and helping around the house, and then once they trust you, try again. But don't expect anything the second you get your liscense...

All depends on who's paying for it. If I were your mum or dad I would say no until you can prove that you are mature enough to handle the responsibility that goes with having a car. To me, a sixteen year old hasn't had enough "life" experience to realise the dangers of driving. They seem to think they are invincible and that it " won't " happen to them. If you do get a car please don't take any chances at all. If your friends want excitement let them find it somewhere else!!!

You convince them you have saved up enough money to make all the payments, and can also afford insurance, and have yet enough left over to pay for the gas. Then have them take you to the dealership to get your car.

ha good luck on that one.But what I did was tell them I would get a job so I could pay for the montly payments(never did tho l0l) And just keep reminding them that ur gonna have to get a car sooner or later why not make it now? And also tell them that if you do have ur own car they will not have to drive you around no more.But hope ya get ur own car!! =D

first do u have ur learners permit? if so then have u practiced driving with ur parents?
now if u have and ur doing good ..
go get a job !! that is the foremost reason to have a car !!
not to just hang out got it!!
