Is there anyway you can go and get the sticker current?
I think that it would look much favorable to the court if you were to show up with that in place. (they will probably tell you to do it anyway).
Try not to worry to much about it.
Here in Indiana there was a guy (a teenager) who as clocked at 142 miles an hour (he had to get home before his curfew)
They let him go

all that to say, I wouldn't worry about it too much.
You did not kill anyone, EVERYONE on this internet with a license has been guilty of speeding at least once.
It is not the end of the world.
Pay the fine and move on.
(i am not sure how close you live to the county where you are caught but if possible taking driving classes as opposed to paying the fine as it might impact your insurance rates)
GOOD LUCK!

This is what I did. I had one going 80 in a 55. I took my car to a garage and told them that I had gotten a speeding ticket and I needed to get my speedometer checked. My speedometer was 5 miles off. I took the piece of paper to the DA and they threw it out for improper equipment. As for the inspection sticker, get the car inspected before the court date and it will be thrown out as well.

Uh - go to court and pay the ticket. Then stop risking innocent lives so you can go 79 miles an hour. Why would you do such a thing?

well you can pay it. that is the least costly. if you go to court you will probably loose and had to pay an additional court fee. if you get you r inspection right away, bring the recipt with you to court and it might be dropped. good luck

Call the County in which this happened and ask them what you need to do--------you might be able to pay the fine or they may tell you you need to show up in court.
