Tito Ortiz is famous for his "support of American troops in Iraq". In fact, he's worn shirts to his fights a couple times that go along those lines. Most recently in his loss against Chuck Liddell, he wore a shirt that said "Thank you troops for fighting in Iraq" (or something along those lines) and in the end of the fight gave a salute and verbal thank you to the troops saying that they make everything in the US possible. That's all nice and dandy, but Ortiz is full of it!

In case you didn't know, Tito Ortiz recently was an actor in a Turkish film that portrays US troops as child killing, murdering, raping, trigger happy psychopaths. In fact, Tito Ortiz even plays an American commander who commit all of these crimes. What else? The entire storyline of the movie is about American troops massacring Iraqi civilians (intentionally) and Jewish doctors stealing Iraqi human organs and selling them on the black market. . .

Does anyone else see this disturbing? Is Tito A hypocrite?

Also, I'm not taking sides here.

Whether US troops actually do this stuff, that's irrelevant.

I just don't think that someone who makes themselves extra loud about supporting US troops should go on acting in a movie that portrays the troops as baby killing psychos.

Oh, and the movie is also considered by many human rights organizations as biased, anti-American, and anti-semetic.

It's not that simple.

In the eastern world this movie is actually taken as serious propaganda against the US. It's not just a hollywood flick that we watch and forget the next day. I don't think that all of these organizations/groups would be up in arms if this were any old movie.

Off topic, but do you know where to find that movie. I've heard all the critisizm about it so i wanna see what its about. Netflix doesn't have it though.....not really interested in spending money on that movie either.

Although, regardless of what a movie is about.....if they told me billy zane was in it....I'd sign up.

Also i hate Tito anyways...and am not trying to defend him, but it depends what he was thinking while signing up. Personally i dont' take messages out of movies. If a movie is trying to tell me a morale or starts to develop too much of a plot, i shut it off. I prefer sensel violence, booobies or commedies.

Tito doesn't seem to be too smart of a guy, he might not have been looking too deep into what he was doing. Or might be looking deep into that and trying to make up for what he has done.

Gotta also look at tito's personality. He's the type to piss people off. I know i've said / done things in the past, might be something i don't believe in at all, but just to piss people off who are anal. (not saying the poster of this is anal, just saying why i did those things).

WHAT????? so someone hires tito as an ACTOR to ACT in a movie as a child molester, that automatically makes him a child molester supporter right?????

Tito supports the troops and continues to support the troops. He may not support the war, but the troops are always on everyone's mind and hearts.

Do you understand what the word "actor" means????????
People that want to be in movies for the first time can't pick and choose roles, they just do what is asked. If he said he supports the troops why the hell would he be lying? Tom Hanks played a gay guy with Aids in "Philadelphia" does that make him gay? well I don't know actually, but you get the point. I would'nt try to look into it any further for what it is and I suggest you stop thinking because your not good at it.

I always prefered Ken Shamrock anyway!

Seriously, I do know where you are coming from. It does seem that he is going against all his beliefs. I sometimes wonder though, if like with wrestling, the Ultimate Fighters have a kind of 'stage' presence to win the publics support. Is it likely, that his was to appear to support the American troops?

if someone offered you a suitcase of cash to be the "Bad American" in a movie, you'd probably do it. it doesn't mean he doesn't support the troops. He's got to pay the bills since this fighting thing isn't working out so great lately.

yeah, I am a US troop and this is bad. So sorry to hear like that. I think he needs to recoup and think about himself. I also saw the fight. I think he scare of Chuck this is why he lose. He is not fight like he is used to be. But whatever that is he needs to fight like not to be afraid of knock out. Maybe he will win next time.
