the vet is a good one and cares about us and our kitten. she said she couldnt stop the vomiting because we dont know what is causing it. and the diarrhea medication would only be vomited right back up. he has eaten no poisens or milk, just kitten food, dry and wet. but now he wont eat anything. he has no fever. we need real help, new ideas, we have read everything on the internet if there is anyone with something new to say please help us. everyone else just send good thoughts to septimus rigby.

thank you in advance for any help.

ok, so last night around 12 he started pirking up, ate some dry food we got from the vet and started to play with string and things he used to do. he still had diarrhea, but no vomiting. this morning everything was fine as well, but then around 11 in the morning he threw up and diarrhea all over again, now he is sad and inactive. im tired of everyone telling us to take him to the vet, or take him to another vet. WE DID THAT!!!! im looking for someone who has had a similar problem who knows what is wrong. we need to know if there is anything our vets in georgia dont know.

if you dont have an answer please just send your thoughts and prayers.

we took septimus back to the vet. we are going to force feed him until he is better. there is nothing in his stomach or intestine, so its either something minor, or he will die of "panalukemia" which is incurable. so thanks for all your thoughts.

Even though your vet is a good one, it doesn't mean they have seen everything that could be the problem. Get a second opinion just to be sure- it's not a bad reflection on your current vet, just a sensible thing to do.

My little guy had a lot of trouble with diarrhea- we went through the same problems- negative tests, etc. His problem turned out to be increased liver enzymes-- eventually, we discovered it was food allergy. But check with your vet(s) before you change his food too much.

septimus rigby is a good name for a kitten ;-)

Are you feeding your cat milk? If so DON'T. Once cats are weened off of mothers milk it should not be given to them. This can make the cat very sick (Any Dairy Products). Another possibility is someone could have poisoned the cat or the cat may have ingested poison. Rat/mice/gopher/roach poisons.
Could of ate a bad can of cat food or tainted animal.
Go to another vet & get a 2nd opinion NOW!!
Look online with the symtoms & check for resolutions.
If there is no help for the cat please do not let him/her suffer.
To let any living creature suffer is selfish. I hope your cats
problem is solved & i will say a little kitty prayer for him/her.

Call your vet. If he doesn't do anything again get a new vet......& hurry. He should have given you medication to stop the vomiting & diarrhea.
