depends on your age but many many women still don't know how to appreciate a good man. Not all women are bad like that but you have to look around and find a good one that appreciates a good man and the good things that you can do.
More often than not, a woman is used to being treated like crap so when she finds a good man then she is overwhelmed by him and gets a little freaked out. Sometimes you have to back off alittle and not try to hard.

I never recall having that experience. I observed some boyfriends lacking in character traits so I broke up with them but failed to see the deception of the one I married so a bad guy appearing to be a good guy broke my heart, not the other way around and not as if I'm perfect.

because some women are stupid.. and go for looks instead of personality... i happen to fall in love with the sweet boy next door. but that's just me.... i mean yeah i like guys to look at least nice... but to break someone's heart over looks.. i think that's just horrible...
don't worry.. hopefully someone will realize that the good guys are the best guys =]

I don't know....what happened? Did the good guys choose unwisely, maybe?
Most women don't go into a relationship with the intent of hurting or being hurt, you know. Maybe each of you were looking for different things...
never give up! we NEED good guys...
after all, I have a wonderful daughter :)

They might not know he's a good guy, or maybe they didn't take the time to notice. Women (in general) take the nice things their men do for them for granted because they are so wrapped up in the day-to-day.
And some just do it to be jerks.
