the little package of silica gel that comes in shoe boxes, purses, etc. It looks like a pack of salt. My little sister ate some and we're worried that something might happen to her..Please serious answers only..plus we are miles away from a hospital so we have to find out if this is serious before we take her!

if you eat too much it can be harmful, if there's even a doctor closer... i'd bring her... better safe than sorry!

I would call the your local poison control center just to make sure. Sounds like she will be ok... since she "ate some" only.

Well, the package says "DO NOT EAT", so I would assume it's not the healthiest thing. Get her to the hospital. Better safe than sorry.

Why take the chance, get off of your computer and call poison control.

I hope that she's ok, i don't know if they are toxic, but you need to find out ASAP.

not to sure . call a poison control center. if you dont have one get her to a hospital better to be safe than sorry

take her to the hospital call the hospital do the common sense thing .

She would have to injest a little more than one pack. But it would never hurt to take her anyway.

call your local poison control. while doing that, try giving her plenty of liquids to drink.

I don't know if they will kill you i do know they are toxic. How bout you call the er and ask someone that knows.
