In KFCs (Australia, NZ and Asia) you can get these really nice super spicy, super super crunchy wings. (Providing the staff aren't lazy and throw out old chicken and replace it with freshly cooked chicken, tsk tsk)

Seeing that there have been problems with how the particular staff were keeping there chicken, I would love to make it at home myself. I'm looking for answers from people who have actually tried those wings and know a recipe for them or for a similar product.

May the Chicken Bukkah be with you.

There's a company called Dat'l Do-it, whose products are Fiery. Here's there site, and a recipe I have from their booklet...

"BBQ Easy Chicken Wings" - 30 wings

3 lbs. chicken wings
1 cup Dat'l Pepper BBQ Sauce
1/2 cup butter
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper

If your wings are whole, trim the tips of the wings; save for soup or discard. Separate wings at the joint. Place wings on heated gas or charcoal grill; leave undisturbed for 7 minutes. While wings are cooking outside, make the sauce inside: Melt butter and add BBQ sauce, cayenne and black pepper.
Turn wings and cook until done, 5-10 minutes more. The drum part will take slightly longer to cook. Cut into a drum to test for doneness. Place wings in large pot with a secure lid. Pour sauce over wings and cover; shake until wings are thoroughly coated.

I don't know if anyone can say they have the Colonel's recipe for those.
However, if you log onto recipelink.com and simply type in "buffalo chicken wings," you'll get a reply in seconds with many delicious recipes to choose from, that will be very close, if not the same.
