Get a dye the same colour as the last one you bought. Get a friend to help touch up the parts that are a different colour. You wont use all of the dye, but dont through it away until you have seen the colour after the 30 minutes to make sure it is even. I do agree with the hairdresser about not keep dying it but like you i would rather take the risk than go around with patchy hair. In future it is worth paying a hairdresser to do it properly. Good luck and i hope it turns out OK.

Wow OK a few problems here.
First you can't lift your hair more than 4 levels with any box color and to be honest most are only going to get you two levels.
Bleaching was a big mistake. You don't realize that it works the second you put it on.
You could not get it all even to begin with.
Your a classic color correction.
However if your gold blond use a med ash blond color
wet your hair first and then apply it all over even you need a toner.
leave it on for at least 20 min or what the box says.
Now shampoo it twice and use 1/4 vinegar and 3/4 water and rinse it to get the smell out and color residue.
Then use a good conditioner and leave on for 10 min.
Rinse and finish. You should end up with a suitable color.
When you need a touch up think about what your doing.
Be sure you tell your hair color expert what you have done in detail and what you can do.
I would think a foil correction would solve you problem long term.
People when you get to this point don't use bleach it's hard on your hair and you will end up with a mess.
They make us get a license to help you the right way.
Good Luck

I'd be very careful about dyeing it again too soon. The hairdresser is right to be cautious as you could really damage your hair and it could break off. I'd condition it as much as possible and then try and get back to a salon to have it done right. It's very hard to get a good blonde hair colour from dark brown hair by doing it yourself (as you've seen!). You might have to revert to a darker colour for a while to get your hair into better condition before you can go blonde. Good luck!

ok so go buy a good conditioner for your hair. Use Aussies 3 minute miracle. It works wonders!!! That will restore your hair in about a week. All I can say is wash wash wash!!! that will help get the dye out until the salon will dye it for you! have fun! make it a joke with your friends!

i have been down similiar road but what goes for me doesn't necessarily go for you b/c it depends on your type of hair. i dyed mine two days in a row, waited a week & did it again. it never turned out a pretty blond like i see other people with. so, i went to a light brown. i'm back to black now. make your next dye job your last for a few months, so think before you dye!

YOU HAVE TO FIND A BETTER SALON AND GET PROFESSIONAL HELP!!!!!! Stop dyeing your hair yourself, you are causing incredible amounts of damage and your hair could break off or fall out.

Sounds like you shouldn't have died it in the first place. Black sounds a lot better than walking around looking like Rainbow Brite.
