i was wondering cause i never knew if you could cross it or not.. without showing your I.D. to the person who`s at the border. or at less trying to get over without getting caught. I do not know so please answer my ?

You cannot cross without proper ID such as a birth certificate and drivers license. If you have a criminal record of any kind, you cannot cross without getting a pardon. Soon, as in the US, you will need a passport to cross. Do NOT try to cross over illegally as Canada does not take care of illegal immigrants the way the US does. You cannot have an anchor baby here and you cannot have free medical care or any other social benefits that are only for legal citizens of Canada. Do NOT even think about it!

no now you have to have a passport to get into canada i belive recently changed used to not have to
