OMG! Who are you! I totally know what you are going thru bc I just recently had the same type of conversation with my best guy friend of like 3.5 yrs. Except there was no mention of loving each other, just an admission that both of us were interested in the other. I will give you the basics of what happened and what I, as a female, am thinking:

We had this conversation and talked about trying to see where this would go. 2.5 weeks later he still hasn't asked me out and now we don't talk or hang out nearly as much as we used to (actually we have only hung out once since then, which is unusual). Anyways, so here I am wondering if he changed his mind or what bc he hasn't asked me out. I feel like it was made abundantly clear on my part that I was interested in him, so I am not sure now if he has lost interest or what.

My suggestion: ask her out. If you guys are really good friends and feel the same way, shes probably nervous too. But not getting on it and asking her out, in my case, has made me wonder how true this guys feelings are. Its endearing that you are nervous and tongue tied... and seriously just make out with her at the beginning of the date since thats the awkward part- u guys know u r hanging out as more than friends.... so I say make out and get the awkward part out of the way and then you guys can move on to hanging out and seeing what happens.

Good luck and I would LOVE to here what happens or if you know whats up with the guy side of my similar sitch (abbysmith82@yahoo.com)

well I believe there's no need to be all shy and tongue tied because you already gotten the hard part out of the way! don't you agree? you both told each other you loved one another. It's time to step it up and take this friendship to another level. You don't want to give her the wrong impression like you lead her on for nothing. Show her you meant what you said. Stop being scared and take a risk. Don't you think she's worth it?

You sound young. let her know how you feel. She is probably having the same problem.

Tell her how you feel and that you are not ignoring her so she will understand.
