Muslims say they believe in "all the prophets" but more than one of the prophets claimed to be the last prophet (Jesus, Muhammad). In order to reconcile this contradiction, Muslims remake a castrated version of "jesus" and reshuffle the "final prophet" label.

Ok, fine, but why couldnt Allah still decide to send a new final Prophet?

"God cannot change his mind!!!" What? I thought there was nothing God could not do.

"God would never change his mind". I thought only God could know such a thing, are you God?

"its irrational for God to change his mind". Maybe, but whose to say for sure! Certainly none of us mere humans, right? Thus, you are playing God to claim God would never or could never do a thing.

So, if you are intelligent, and not a mere Islamic sheeple, you must at minumum be willing to admitt, that since God can do whatever he wants, he could certainly send us another pedophilic slave owning warlord prophet, although its not likely.

[33:40] Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Messenger of Allâh and the last (end) of the Prophets. And Allâh is Ever All-Aware of everything.

1 - Jesus did not claim to be the final prophet, proof: christians don't even believe he is a prophet in the first place to say that he's the final one.

2 - God would not change his mind, because God would not contradict something he said about himself, although he can, he would not and does not have to anyways.

3 - You are underestimating God and thinking of God as a human like us, and you are assuming your logic is correct as if God thinks like a child.

4 - God is all knowing, all powerful, God is the beginning and the end. God is not limited to time, the whole universe since he created it until now is in front of him like a book. So God is not going through life like we are to change his mind along the way. Just like the director of a movie (to make it easier for your simple mind) .. a director would not release the movie and change his mind while you are in the theater watching the movie.

5 - We never claimed anything about God except what we believe God told us, and I assure you many many philosophers thought about so many things and wrote thousands of books about the logic and rationality of God, and they ended in believing in God.

6 - Telling me that i will only be intelligent if i approved with your simple minded argument is not an intelligent way to proof a point. Your whole argument is flawed because you do not even understand what we believe God is in the first place to discuss God like that.

God said that Mohammed peace be upon him is the final prophet and god's words are final. Or it wouldn't be the word of God.

You think too highly of yourself, did you know that the Muslim scientists are the ones who discovered the basics of today's science ... and they were strong believers and i doubt you are smarter than any of them.

Well, Allah had everything written before He created everything. Every single little even was written, therefore He decided that Mohammed is going to be the last prophet...
And Mohammed kept on reassuring that. Why would Allah decide to send a prophet after He told (through Gabriel) Mohammed that there will be 30 person who will claim that he is the last prophet or so, and he will because of his claim he will be killed. Therefore Allah wouldn't tell the people this and wouldn't expect them to kill another person who would claim that he is a prophet.. you know what I mean?
Allah knows how everything went and is going, so if there was a need for another prophet He wouldn't have declared that the Prophet is the last one.
And please stop insulting Mohammed...

The Prophet Muhammd (PBUH) is the last messenger, this is written in Quran, Jesus's Bible and Moese's Torah (Peace Be Upon Them all), i think the problem of you is that you still suspicious about what God said, while we as Moslems, believe in every word God said, there is no way you can think of God this way, when you talk about the Supreme Being, it is not like talking about humans or a friend, I advise you to go and read specifically about this topic in all Holy Books and see, and especially Quran which confirmed all whats written in Bible and Torah, as Quran is the last Word of God, I am sure you will get the truth then:

here is the English version of Quran you can read all chapters, and you can search for the word Jesus and see what you will get:

Wish you all the best..

no...there are many conceptions of many different ideas in islam but all muslims believe that the line of prophets was sealed by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). I never said God couldn't change his mind. but he never does...why would he? When God says something its true. i dont think you understand the concept of God....
your whole question was fine until the last sentence. i ask you is it too hard to refrain from being disrespectful?
