It would be something of a demotion, lad. When you're the king, nobody wants to put you in for a crummy earldom.

That is a really deep question. I think Jesus was made into some type of Saint...somehow like the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I am sure that he is not just walking around in Heaven like a human like you and I. He took all our sins away by dying on the cross. Besides Catholics are really the only religion that pushes the saint thing anyhow. I think it is just best to live by the golden rule. Be kind to others and you will reap your reward.

Because He's way above a saint. A saint is a person who lived a religious life, and was above reproach. Jesus is Lord, Son of God........

It is true that Jesus Christ, the son of God was the physical manifestation of God in the flesh. Emmanual means God with us. The bible says that in him is the fullness of the Godhead bodily and we are complete in him who is the head of all principality and power. The term saint means people of God, God;s true remnant in heaven and on the earth. If your not a saint while your alive no one can make you when after your gone.

Did Jesus not take on all the sins of mankind, and die without absolution so that man could be cleansed of sin?

And, who would proclaim him saint? The same religious legacy who condemned him to death? That would be the ultimate in hypocrisy. Of course, put nothing past the church...

Because only Catholics have saints.
They make saints out of humans and they think he was god's son, so I guess thats why.
