If you get the problems fixed and show proof to the court, you just have to pay a $10 fee.

If you don't get things fixed, the fine depends on the county you got the ticket in.

Proof of insurance can't be fully fixed if you didn't have valid insurance at the time of the ticket. If you get insurance after the fact, it's a much higher fine. Not getting it at all is over $500 usually.

Fix-it tickets usually cost nothing if you take care of the problem (fix-it) before the court date. Depends on the state as to the amount of the fine if you don't fix it.

In CA like where we are from!!
1. Fix the problem before the date on your ticket!!!
2. bring your car to any Peace Officer "IE: SFPD, CHP" Ur local!!
3. They will sign the ticket!!!
4. You mail it back!!! or take it to most likily the local court house.
Your done
Total cost 0 in fines
but it sounds like u need to fix up ur car tho!!

In my state NH you have ten days to get the probs fixed without getting a fine after that they can nail you for big bucks
