my sister is in the 6th grade and she likes a boy. She wants to ask him out but she is nervous and scared! What should she do to ask him out and what are some tips on how to make him like her? thanks!

well beccabo, sounds like you should know. tell her what you did to ask out your first successful boyfriend. if it worked for you, why not for her?

Children in the sixth grade shouldn't be dating. They should be studying. No wonder this country is so far behind others in educational statistics. Give her a book to read, preferably one that isn't about how to get a boyfriend. There are more important things in life than dating especially when she is in the sixth grade.

Well i know from experience that if she just goes up to him and asks him she will get the best results, because that shows the guy that she is serious, plus the worst thing he can do is say no.

Well, just tell her to ask him. The sooner she does it the better. She is very young too. It won't be the end of the world if he doesn't like her back. She should just be herself adn hope for the best.

To me it sounds like you are the one who likes this boy and you are in the 6th grade...so to get this boy to like you BE YOURSELF around him ok ** Trust me it works!

She doesn't want to not be herself to make somebody like her. So if she is herself and he says he doesn't like her, then she doesn't need to be with him. She shouldn't come right out and say that she likes him so tell her to just first start out a conversation with him on several occasions and get to know him. Eventually she can throw in phrases like "you are so cute" "you are so funny" when they get closer she can tell him she likes him and be comfortable with it. But have her tell him when he is alone.

i think the best way to ask him out is just be straight froward with the guy. i mean im a 7th grader and i think thats the best thing to do from experience.
