The Netherlands (also called Holland).

It's a European country, in between Belgium and Germany, and above France (there's also Luxembourg somewhere close by).

The Kingdom of the Netherlands.

One of its members is "Holland", so the country is often called "Holland", incorrectly (the way 'Britain'/'the UK' is so often just callled 'England').

And to one other replier - the name for the whole country in Dutch is "Niederla(a)nds", not "Holla(n)d", I believe.
