why do they always say looks aren't everything?? if you want to have a long and meaningful relationship, then it IS true, theyre not everything, but if all you want to have is a fun time, and both the guy and girl know that that is all they want, then ewhy the hell is it seen as bad?

that is two totally different subjects,, 1. looks are not everything 2, dating just for fun,,,, if you are seeing someone just for fun,,,,,, you wouldnt have a need to go further then looks, or maybe not even consider looks, since you wont be looking at them for a long long time,,,, its not bad to only want a fun time, and its great if you are honest about it,,,, and go out with women who only want that also,,,,,,

well dude, sometimes its the weird lookin guys that are the most fun. my dad has a friend, a really funny, goofy guy that has a reaaally nerdy accent as well. My dad tells me though, that this dude had such a fun-loving and humurous personality that once he got into a conversation with a girl, no matter how hot or obnoxious, there wouldnt be a chance in hell that he wouldn't shag her. i didnt beleive my dad till i saw some old pics of some women he dated, and hooly **** dude... and his current wife..... damnn...

I know looks aren't everything, but I still believe they are or your heart doesn't know how old you are, that is true, but my mind does. I agree if you want to have a one night stand, and no strings attached then do it, who cares what anyone thinks.

They're appearance sort of is something, because that's just showing you how she grooms herself.
And I wouldn't go out with a girl if she was hot, but always complained about her day, was a total b*tch, everything was about her, and took my money.
So they play a role and they don't.

that would be because you are self focused. It is true that you can not be married to someone that turns you off, but to focus only on looks is shallow and self serving.
I told my husband that I married him for his personality- and that is 100 percent true, because I just loooooove men in black hair with blue eyes. He is blonde and brown eyes. So, just to feed my husband's ego- I tell him I married him for his looks, and he knows I am lying.

I like to look at it this way, many people make lotes of money off of their looks, models, celebrities, ect. But if you want to make the real money, you're going to need brains, not looks. I.E. Bill Gates and co.

it doesnt matter what youre looking for, looks do matter. i dont care how cool a girl is, if i dont like to look at her then its gonna be a no go. besides there are too many beautiful, cool, sweet, sexy girls with awesome personalities out there to even have to worry about it.

get the phrase looks arent EVERYTHING but they are SOMETHING there saying you should look in the mirror 24/7 but they arent saying not to show off so looks are something there just not your whole life to worry about them
