Hi i'm a guy and I find my hair curling just after a few hours after I straighten them. Is there any tips that you can offer or any hair products that I can use that will help my hair. Thanks.

straightning serums are quite good but i prefer miracle mist you can get it from most chemists Boots etc. You could use a bit of hairspray aswell just to make sure. Happy hairdressing

YES! I would highly recommend purchasing a Chi straightening iron. I realize you may already have a straightening iron but Chi is awesome. Also, I recommend you ask a stylist at your local hair salon this question. They know best and they are usually very happy to help. Also, if you want you can google your favorite hair company and usually the web page will come up and they usually give the hair type or they say what the product is for. Good Luck!

Hi, you could get your hair chemically straightened if its not too short (more that an inch or so). Its not too damaging to your hair and is perminant, so will last you a good few months. You may still need to do a little striaghtening on the really short bits, but chemically straightening your hair takes out the natural curl so its straight even when wet.
If this scares you a bit, then just make sure you use a good protector, and make sure you hair is bone dry when you do it.
Jill.

try after getting out of the shower, blow drying it and using a barrel brush and then go through and straighten it. A product i use is aussie 2 in 1 frizz control and leave in conditioner. Put this in while your hair is still wet after the shower and blow dry it.
This product can be found at Target and comes in a small purple bottle.

Go and get the infinity blow dryer by conair. This thing is so cool it dries and straightens your hair at the same time. Also you could use a ceramic flat iron. Before you straighten it rub some john frieda straightening spray into your hair.

Yes, there is a product you can only get at salons, it is called S-Factor seriously straight. Its an amazing product. When I get sick of wearing my hair curly and want it straight for a change , this is the product I use. My hair is difficult to get straight, and this has been the product that got the job done. It got my hair asian straight and holds for a good 4 days. Good luck

Try John Frieda products for straightening hair and stay away from gel or wax which holds moisture in. A good ceramic flat iron with a little hairspray may work.

first of all put a mousse in your hair , when you blow dry your hair make sure you get it completely dry, no moisture at all, when you straighten your hair (chi is best) try to iron small sections because it will get it straighter. when your done blowdry your hair again with COLD air because it will set your hair. avoid moisture and you should be good to go. If you live where this is a lot of moisture like I do get shampoo, conditioner, and a mousse that will control your hair in humidity -dove makes one.

i dont reccomend hairspray, unless its made to keep hair straight, like herbal essences dangerously straight(yeah i know- its pink)
http://herbalessences.com/us/collections/dangerously_straight/spray.jsp

one like that is reccomended cuz any old hairspray just kinda completely undos the straightening, and try smoothing shampoos and hair cremes- http://www.gethairapy.com/samples/
thats a link for some pretty generous samples, you can choose any of those
and heres a link: http://www.gethairapy.com/products/
choose your hair issue and you go on from there
if you can also, try to blowdry your hair and use a straightening cream before blowdry and a serum to keep it healthy and shiny, and moisturized. try to buy professional things(great products dont need great styling appliances or a great shampoo and conditioner not girly is suave professionals sleek shampoo and conditioner which is about $1.50-$3 tops(bargain..) its pretty good

email me 4 more info if you need more help.
