If he cant, then he has no free will to chose, and is nothing more than Allah's (God's) torture robot.
If Satan does have free will, then he could decide to take a day off and not torture people, or make hell more exicting, and just turn it into one big party.
Actually, it makes more sense that Satan would make hell into a fun place for humans, because it was supposedly God who banished him, so why punish people, who like him, was banished from God? Wouldnt he feel more kinship with those banished to hell?
Certainly, if Satan is a greater being with intelligence and free will, he must be getting sick of torture all the time. In fact, if he was once "good", and still has free will, he could decide to be good again. If he couldnt, for whatever silly reason you dream up, then hes nothing more than a torture robot for God.

Nope. Evil doesn't work like that. Angels, even fallen ones, are bound to worship God, and if they mangle that relationship, they're going to stay twisted and evil.
Satan resents people being good and happy and wants to lure them to do the wrong thing. Really, it's tempting to go for the "quick fix" of evil--partying, using substances, violence, theft, cruelty...all that garbage. But it doesn't work in the end.
God didn't create evil. It created itself. Evil is separation from good, passing on unhappiness to others that you received. Evil is the corruption of power, rather than using power only to achieve happiness and then releasing it. The unhappiness of Satan is a clear warning about what happens when you stop being good. Temporary fun, long-term hangover.
I know it sounds dorky, but it really does give you a nice warm fuzzy feeling to do the right thing. Good thing, too, because sometimes that's all you get. Being good isn't easy, but it's the only real choice for a human with a conscience.

When will people realize that the figure of Satan is a vital part of the Christian religion! This figure is more important then JESUS! This is because without Satan there would be no need for any of their false promises or lies of immortality!
Remove the figure of Satan and Christianity DIES!

Satan is the head of this world. All the hurt, pain, problems, evil, sin and disease are caused by him. Satan offered Jesus all the kingdoms of this world if Jesus would fall down and worship him and Jesus said, "Get the hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve."
From what the Bible says about hell it is plenty exciting, screaming, burning, weaping and gnashing of teeth. The reason Satan hates you is because God chose you over him. You are the reason Satan revolted. Satan thought God made a mistake choosing you over him. He is not your kinfolk; he is your tormentor. God created hell for Satan and his fallen angels. Satan is called a liar and the father of lies. It is said that Satan comes to kill, steal and destroy. God knows what he is capable of doing because God created him. If God wants a torture robot Satan fills the job.

The point of Satan and Hell is that people are given a choice, to be good or bad, and if your bad, it brings PLEASURE to Satan when he knows your going to be tortured by him. Also, there are a lot of people, like me, who aren't tortured or feel tortured in everyday life, that torture bs is stuff man has created in order to take on the duty of having a higher power & authority.

Satan has free will but enjoys causing people pain and getting them to sin. Satan's premise was/is that no one can keep God's law and that he (Satan) had a better plan. God is allowing the universe to observe Satan's "better plan" play out instead of killing Satan to start with. God is allowing this to prove that His law is the best way BECAUSE He is a God of love and wants us to CHOOSE him and not be forced to serve Him. God is the one who gave us life....I would think He knows the best things for us. Death is the result of sin....because it seperates us from God.

Only if god doesn't speak through people to declare any more wars in the name of religion. But, it won't happen because this satan you speak of doesn't torture anyone. There's no hell or heaven that I know of (the cross-streets always get me lost in Florida). Plus, the only people who torture others are the christians, when they hear the truth, which is something that they are afraid of.

Why do you still believe in satan and angels! There are no satans.The satan is the bad character or evil tendency.You need to cultivate a good frame of mind.No one will torture you.

I highly doubt it, Satan, also known as the anti-christ is just that, the exact opposite of Jesus Christ Himself, Jesus wouldnt torture somebody or make their lives a living hell, but Satan sure would, and he has no plans on stopping

tsk, tsk, tsk, are you crazy? Satan doesn't have a choice. And if he did, he surely wouldn't give anyone a good day. It doesn't fit his job description!!! Only Lord Jesus can give you a good day.
