The Living God has given His instruction in His Word.
It has nothing to do with "religion." It's about relationship through Jesus Christ.
The gift of salvation is free. It is a true gift as it is not deserved and no one can "earn" it.
John 3:16 God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, whosoever believes in Him shall have everlasting life. 17 God did not send His Son into the world to judge the world but to save the world through Him.

God's true religion is no religion. The process is to know thy self, all else serves as rungs upon the ladder that leads to this, a ladder with many steps. Religions of this world only become obstacles to further growth by their limitations. They will ensnare you and only the grim reaper will be able to save you from it. Unfortunately.
The truth today is only partially true tomorrow. Know thy self.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, so that who so ever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
The Right to Enter Paradise
Death is inevitable. The thief on the cross knew when his would occur, but we can not predict our own. After his death, the crucified criminal went to live in paradise with Jesus. Some of us will also live eternally in God's presence. But others will experience everlasting torment, forever separated from Him.
If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's excuses because there is no acceptable defense for unbelief. (Acts 4:12)
Become part of God's family today. Acknowledge your sinfulness, and express your faith in these words:
"God, I have sinned against You. (Romans 3:23) I've followed my own way and refused to give You the right to rule in my life. (Romans 3:10-12) I recognize I am separated from You and cannot rescue myself. I do believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I accept the truth of the Scriptures? that His death on the cross paid my sin-debt in full. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) And I ask You to forgive me of my sins. (1 John 1:9) By faith, I receive You, Lord Jesus, as my personal Savior from this moment on."
If you just spoke those words to God, then, like the thief on the cross, you have received salvation? a gift of God's grace. The heavenly Father welcomes every person who comes to Him through His Son, regardless of background, age, or current situation. Through Jesus, the right to enter paradise is yours!

I assume you believe in some sort of creator then. Why don't you ask him? As for me, I could tell you all night long why I am a Christian, but if you are truly interested in the truth, cry out to God and he will reveal himself to you, (don't expect a burning bush). God bless you :-)

All prophets of God teach the same thing - to worship The One True Eternal God The Creator and to follow their teachings.
So, to answer your question, generally speaking, I would have to say that the true religion of God is the religion of the prophets of God.
God knows best.
Peace and Love.

God's True Religion is Catholicism.. Jesus Christ, (read the Bible) gave the keys to his Church to the Apostle Peter. Peter is the First of many leaders of Christ's Church on Earth. We call this leader a Pope. As Catholics we follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. He is our leader, our God. We do not, again I repeat, follow any other teaching but that which Jesus left us. Some people who think they know about Catholicism but are just filled with prejudice think that Catholics are follow the teachings of Peter or the Church according to Peter. No, the Catholic Church was not founded on the teaching of Peter or any other Apostle or Disciple. Peter left no teaching, but the Gospel he wrote about witnessing and teaching of Jesus.
The Lord Jesus, has called us all to Holiness.. in the Catholic Church you see this right away. Many Holy Men and Women lived exemplary lives so that they have been declared Saints by the Holy Church. We honor their thoughts, writings and their lives, but still we do not worship them or treat them as Gods.. There is only one God and that is who we Worship. Read about the History of the Catholic Church and you will be amazed to read that you are reading the History of the True Church of God..
Amen

if there is a "GOD", HE is a "GOD" of Truth, for a lie never existed and never will.......
and "religion", which is of the "imag"ination, is Anti-Truth.......
why would "GOD" have need of a "religion"? only those who are in outright rebellion against "GOD"(Truth)" have need of a "religion".
what is Life, if not complete in and of The Life?
