Well...I know these three Chinese people that live in Sweden, and they really say the most horrible things about white people. All three of them!

Christians start complaining when:

1) people start talking for separation of church and state (not condemnation fo Christianity).
2) people take down the 10 commandments from public (because it denounces worshipping any other gods except for the Christian god. Posting them in public is demeaning Christianity, because the public treats these religious tenets as a "magic charm", and expect all of society's problems to be solved overnight. Christianity is much more than the 10 commandments, even though I am a non-Christian occultist.)
3) It's all about control. When you take control away from dangerous, violent, and obnoxious bible-beaters who do nothing but insult their own religion with their immature lives and actions, there will be an outcry that "OMFG Christianity is being persecuted OMFG!@!!"

If they're not free to force their religion on others by any means necessary (like the missions, Inquisition, etc.), Christians feel "persecuted."

Real Christian persecution, like practiced by the Romans, hasn't to my knowledge been around for a long time, except for some Communist countries (who didn't only persecute Christians, of course).

Very much so. When you are the majority, and make all the rules, it's kind of hard to be persecuted, huh?

You leave out one important bit of information here: Most of the Pro-lifers that stand out in front of planned parenthood aren't there to "save lives". They are there to harass women who visit. They also on occasion attack workers and bomb clinics. So, if you're going to tell it, tell the WHOLE truth. You act as if these people as SO kind and caring, when in reality they are NOT innocent "helpers". BTW I have NEVER heard of a teacher shoving homosexuality onto children (and I'd bet you haven't either)

Jesus=God

Separation of Church and State benefits EVERYONE involved. You are allowed to teach your child ANY religion you see fit, and don't have to worry about a school forcing your child into a certain religion. I am sure that you would LOVE for this country to be run by your religion, but I on the other hand wouldn't.

America is more of political discrimination and constant anti-Christian media propaganda. The new term "separation of Church and State", which is part of the Russian constitution but was never part of the American constitution, singles out Christianity. When people use this expression, it is always to try to silence the freedom of speech of Christians from having a voice in our society.

In other parts of the world Christians get killed daily by Islamic extremists and others just for being Christians.

When a Christian complains about being "persecuted" it usually means he's persecuting everyone else and getting slapped down for it.

Christians are not nearly as persecuted in North America, as in other countries where they are beaten or killed. The worst here is name calling. But no one likes being called stupid or ignorant, including atheists. Right?

There are people in America who are called secular progressives who believe that Christians are obstacles to an "enlightened" society. They also tend to believe that drugs should be legalized, homosexual marriage is equal to marriage between a man and a woman, abortion is good for society and is not the killing of a child, euthanasia is also good for society and is not killing an adult, America is the root of evil in the world, Our enemy should be appeased, our borders should be open, countries don't matter and people should be allowed into the US without going through a legal process, government size should be increased to take care of society rather than individuals taking care by personal responsibility and caring for others. Secularists believe that Christians are an obstacle to meeting their agenda, so there is an aggressive effort led by people with big money and powerful groups like the ACLU to reduce or eliminate the influence of Christians in our society. If Christians can be silenced, the SP's have a better chance of attaining their objectives to radically change society.

That metaphor is stretching a little, but I get the spirit and say ha ha. How true.

Here's a rule of thumb:

If you perceive yourself as persecuted, then you are persecuted.
If you perceive of yourself as happy and free and content, then you are happy and free and content.

You just have to change your mind.
