Everyone I have met from the UK are really good people, except 2 and they were monsters!
I just met a new person and I will just call him Mr. Shoeless!haha hes very cheeky!

There is no hate at all lol maybe the accent catches some people off guard--either sexy or annoying to some. However, we don't really have any generalized formulated opinions about the people of the Uk since America is a melting pot--everyone here comes from many countries and we love that here. One thing we like from the UK is that your government is slightly better than ours...You guys offer better benefits for your people, but the cost of living is outrageous in the UK damn!
People in America love their roots...they hate to admit they're just American.

I have never been to any of the countries that make up the UK, but would love to visit some day. As far as I'm concerned, ya'll are awesome. I mean, some of the greatest bands came from England (i.e. The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, The Beatles...) and I am grateful for that. If it wasn't for the UK, we wouldn't have a lot of the things that make the world great.

I love your country...the beauty and the warts...I have loved your country since I fell in love with the Beatles and my English pen pal by the name of David Artis from Dunstable UK. I have visited there twice and I always find facinating images, sights, sounds and people! The people were great and helpful and very polite and the cabbies in liverpool are awesome. I didn't like the cabbies in London though but neither do I like the ones I found in American cities.I like that you don't censor American news but censor anything bad about the stupid Royals. I love the history, the scones, the tea,cafs, fish adn chips.Great music also! I had some great boyfriends from there as well...Wink Wink!

Although I've visited GB a few times, I really enjoyed Erie the best. England has many interesting things to see, but I don't think I would want to live there. I base the last statement on TV shows that depict crime and everyday life in England. I'm sure there are nice places to live and a TV show certainly doesn't do justice, but I'm also sure there is some truth in those shows. Being of Irish/English descent, a part of my roots is there. My one critism of the UK is their degradation of the English language. Although an American, I did learn to speak the King's English which is so lacking both there and in my country. To me, language is like music. It should be spoken well and the music should be played well. It is a measure of our society and needs to be treated with respect.

I love the UK. The people are courteous and fun. The only thing I can even feel critical about in general is some of the British food and Scottish haggis. But we have some pretty gross food, too. Plus, how about your great music and theatre!

My son and I visited England and Scotland, and didn't want to leave! I love the history, the old buildings, the gardens! I did not like much of the food--the breakfast food at all of the hotels we stayed at made us sick. And the cost of living is high. But it's beautiful--oh, the rolling hills of Scotland! Will we go back? Oh, yes, indeed!

Americans are actually very fond of the UK. After all, our nation originated as a result of the English coming to colonize. We do love all things British and see you as our own. We are family. What else can I say?

i like it... i used to live there... you guys get trashed a lot, think tourisim is southern france, ayia napa, ibiza, disney world, NYC and LA. have crummy places like hull but that is offset by nice places like leeds. have an aversion to asians and muslims and are pretty xenophobic, calling everyone an asylum seeker. have nasty food like hagis but also have great sausage rolls, curry and kebabs....... :) eat beans for breakfast - that's weird but somehow it works, especially in the full monty. :) :) drink pg tips, but are not anywhere as refined as the american stereotypes portray you guys to be (and its good that you're not because you're not really boring at all). and the essex accent is funny, innit.

I love it. I have visited 3 times and want to come back. Overall, the English are more poilte, speak the language better, and aren't nearly as noisy and don't make asses of themselves in public. Kids here are far too spoiled. I like the fact that your kids wear uniforms to school. We need that here to stop teens crying for 200 dollar shoes. I also love the trains that go everywhere!
