Met a girl in London during the new years weekend.
Had one of the best nights of my life, actually make that the best night of my life... Probably fell way too hard, way too quick.... but what can I do...
Now I'm back to my place, which happens to be about 4000 miles away from London.
I'm now talking to her through the email and such but I dunno if I'm just tryin to catch something way beyond my reach....
I'm young (22) and maybe it's just a ignorant heart talking but sometimes i just feel like jumping on the first plane and going over there again.... I'm 6 months away from graduating college and all sort of responsibilities and other crap are gonna start piling up...
I guess it only works out in the movies...
This isn't even an actual question for Yahoo, i just had to air it out and now I'm gonna go back to whinning about how much my life sucks without her...
Thanks for reading lol

I know two other people that did the same thing. Except the man was in England, the girl was in college, and they were both very busy. They talked for a while and then they decided that they were very much in love. He came to see her, she went to see him, then he proposed. They got married, and had me. I've never seen two people so happy. He (my dad) moved over here. I say go for it. If you feel it, do it.

I think that it would be hard to characterize a life that's 6 months away from college graduation as "sucking". Your remarks tell us that you obviously know the reality of the situation yourself. Be glad of the experience you had with her. Write your feelings in as much detail as you like in a private notebook that you can pull out some years in the future and enjoy.
By all means email her, by all means stay in touch, but do it without trying to grasp for something that's so far from reach. If you put good energy out without any hard pressure or clutching, you could end up with a special friend for life.

dude. whay can't it work. Yeah it will be hard but its possible. You need to think more positive. why not email and phone her for a while and if you still feel the same way take another trip out their. Don't have a formal relationship or anything because it will be more stressfull. Keep in touch and if you still feel the same in a few months than pursue it.
I have been in similar situations a few times and most of the time you end up forgeting over time. But one time I didn't forget about her and I regreted not keeping in touch.

Keep in touch with her while you finish college. After graduation, if you are both still interested in a relationship, go see her. If you guys decide you can't live without each other, look into getting a work visa.

Give it a shot! What are you thinking man? You and her were meant to be together. Now get on that phone and call her right away! Go on, what are you waiting for man!? Give her your love and she will return the favor. Be a man, show her that you are!

let it go... long distance relationships, statistically speaking, are doomed for failure.
If you want, leave your options open. Mention that if she ever comes out to your part of the world, that she should by all means contact you. Invite her to keep in touch. If she writes to you, write back, but I wouldn't make an extra effort to maintain a long-distance romance with her.

You are still young. If your life sucks, do something about it now while you still are relatively free.
