It sounds like she's all ready doing a good job.
I feel it is important for a child to understand that house hold chores are for every one to help with and that starts with basic rules. Eg., tidying up after youself (children often need a little help with this one), putting your coat/bags/shoes away, in the correct place and these rules apply to all members of the household.
She is not too young to take responsiblity for making her bed, etc in the morning on a daily basis, if she doesn't all ready. She may take a great sense of pride showing off to you that she's done it. There are plenty of little things she can help with. Eg put all the cutlery away in the correct place when its dry. It doesn't all have to be formal with a duty rosta. It can be fun with lots of praise and she will feel a sense of achievement.
But also important is her time to play. Very Important.

that is about what our kids do, they are 6-4-3-2 the older 3 clean their rooms and they like to help set the table and when they are done they like to clear the table, and the girls-4-3- like to put their undies away after they are washed, and they like to help feed the animals.

If she wants to help let her dust things that is low sometime this can also make her feel like she is contributing to the house but I wouldn't force her to do it on a regular basis kids have to grow up so quick now they don't have time to be kids let her enjoy her play time I think you will be happier when she has left the nest and you have just the memories of her playing.

That sounds really good! My 4yr old nephew likes to help my sister in law cook. He cracks a good egg with no shells! I don't think I did that till I was 12. Seems you're doing a great job at teaching your daughter. Good luck!

That's about what I have my 5 yr old son doing. He also sometimes helps his dad out in the yard by picking up sticks and pinecones.

Yes, that's good! I never did any of that when I was that age. Just take baby steps. And reward her for doing chores so then she won't mind doing them as she gets older

Sounds good... how about dusting, or helping out with a pet? My 4 year old niece is responsible for cleaning the litter box (which she is very proud of)
Good for you.

Wow, that is pretty good for a 4-5 year old. My daughter never would have done that good. You are good the way you are doing it.
