It means that he wants to break up and probably because you were too clingy but there is a small chance that you can fix it. Don't get your hopes up but try anyway if you want to.
DO NOT CALL HIM. If you call him then it just solidifies the reason why he left you. You must prove to him that you can do without him.
When he does call, don't sound too excited to hear from him but also don't sound depressed either. Make it seem as though you are fine and maybe even a little busy. Chat for just a short while and then say that you are heading out with your friends and that you have to go. You may even want to say that you are going to call him later... but don't call him later. When he calls you back, just say that you were way too busy and you forgot.
If you talk to him, DO NOT ask him...
What you did wrong
if you can meet up
if he misses you
if he has a new girlfriend
if you are going to get your things back
You can always talk about those things later on but right now isn't the time for that.
Keep it brief and if he wants to meet up then let him bring it up.
Remember that it is human instinct to want what you can't have.

I'm afraid you know what it means, but the answer is harsh. He wants to see what else is out there, or he had already found someone else and wants to date them without cheating on you. The best thing you can do is act like you want space too, which will make him jealous of the men you might be seeing and will either send him back to your arms or help him further realize that he really does want to move on.

If you are a person who calls him more than a couple of times a week, maybe. And you never give him an opportunity to call you first. Plus, you maybe the type that your insecurities or your vanity bosting he may find boring. You must have balance. Give a person a chance to miss you. Find something to do to make yourself more interesting. Hmmm... like date other people.

More than likely in guy language, it means he wants to break up. There are rare instances when this isn't the case, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I think he's decided he doesn't want to continue seeing you and/or he's met someone else. I'd give him "some space" and if you don't hear from him, you'll have your answer. Prepare to move on.

hunny, thats just WHAT it means... guys are pretty straight forward when it comes to that... if he wants space, than it means, your to pushy, naggy or annoying and he needs to get away from that... theres no other meaning to it
