I have had past UTI's and have still had frequent urination and have recently had my urine cultured and was told that I have a large amount of white blood cells and bacteria in my urine. I was referred to a urologist but couldnt get in to see him til a couple weeks. These symptoms have been going on for months and was told i do not have a uti. Recently I have been extremely exhausted even with enough sleep and feel like im dizzy. Im worried and was wondering if anyone could tell me what this could be while im waiting for my appt.

I do not have an STD. I was tested and do not have one. I have had rounds of antibiotics for my past UTI's but do not currently have one.

Did they give you antibiotics? You need to get that infection treated and tell your doctor about your new symptoms incase your infection is now bothering your kidneys as well.

Frequent infections can put you at risk for other things such as Interstitial Cystitis.

Make you drink enough water. I know that can be less fun when you have a uti but it is very necessary and your dizzines may be from dehydration and the infection.

Weird. Sure sounds like a UTI to me. Did they even try a course of antibiotics on you?

Addendum: I did some additional searching (I'm a medical editor), and from what I read, a presence of bacteria in urine does not always indicate infection, as some bacteria in urine can be common. White blood cells in urine (pyuria), however, could indicate bladder, kidney, or lower urinary tract infection.

Hope this helps some. Remember, though, I'm not a doctor!
