- Muslims don't accept any hadith as said by the prophet (sas) unless it's narrated directly from the prophet (sas) through reliable, trustworthy chain of narrators who are known for their rightness and strong memory. there are very strict standard upon which a hadith is accepted and classified into levels. (science of Hadith)
on the other hand .. If we looked at the gospel of Luke for example, Luke is known to be an apostle of Paul .. neither Paul nor Luke have met Jesus .. There is not even a proof that Luke who wrote the bible is the same Luke the apostle of Paul. authors of some other Gospels are not known for sure like John

The Bible's accuracy and reliability have been proved and verified over and over again by archaeological finds produced by both believing and nonbelieving scholars and scientists. This included verification for numerous customs, places, names, and events mentioned in the Bible.
One among many examples is the fact that for many years the existence of the Hittites (a powerful people who lived during the time of Abraham) was questioned because no archaeological digs had uncovered anything about them. Critics claimed the Hittites were pure myth. But today the critics are silenced. Abundant archaeological evidence for the existence of the Hittites during the time of Abraham has been uncovered.
Bible scholar Donald J. Wiseman notes, "The geography of Bible lands and visible remains of antiquity were gradually recorded until today more than 23,000 sites within this region and dating to Old Testament times, in their broadest sense, have been located." Nelson Glueck, a specialist in ancient literature, did an exhaustive study and concluded: "It can be stated categorically that no archaeological discovery has ever controverted a biblical reference." Well-known scholar William F. Albright, following a comprehensive study, wrote: "Discovery after discovery has established the accuracy of innumerable details, and has brought increased recognition of the value of the Bible as a source of History."

There are more than 24,000 partial and complete manuscript copies of the New Testament. These manuscript copies are very ancient and they are available for inspection NOW. there are also some 86,000 quotations from the early church fathers and several thousand lectionaries (church-service books containing Scripture quotations used in the early centuries of Christianity). In fact, there are enough quotations from the early church fathers that even if we did not have a single copy of the Bible, scholars could still reconstruct all but 11 verses of the entire New Testament from material written within 150 to 200 years from the time of Christ. Bottom line: The New Testament has an overwhelming amount of evidence supporting its reliability.

The hadith was not recorded for over 100 years after Muhammed's death by unknown writers.

Whereas the gospels and epistles were written by known people all within 60 years after the resurrection of Christ. Such as the epistle of James which was written by the brother of Jesus between 40-50AD, which was within 10-15 years of the death of Christ.

Why do Muslims trust the sas and consider the chain of "prophets" reliable? Why do atheists trust incomplet and inconcrete evidence? I trust the Bible becase I have the Holy Spirit. Have a blessed new years :-)

Because that's basically what a christian is, someone that follows the new testament. I've read the koran and the bible. The new testament teaches tolerance and forgiveness. The koran teaches to cut people's heads off if they aren't muslim. Islam is an evil religion teaches hate and intolerance.

Christians believe through faith,Jesus said we all have a measure of faith(the evidence of things hoped for but unseen)),you cant get to the Father unless He draws you to Him Christ(the annointed and or the annointing)we all are born with a measure and whether we choose to believe is up to us,but if you have ever felt that annointing then you will know Christ is real(it gives you chill bumps)why is it easier for some to doubt than believe?

I think it does not matter what happens last time and it is not that important to trace the life journey of any prophets.

The most important thing is that all religion teaches you good things and not to do evil acts. In this liberal society, people are free to choose any religion to believe in and not condemn and question others' belief. Don't you agree?

From my Christian past: I was brainwashed to believe what I believed--that the Bible is the word of God. I did not come to that conclusion by research and reasoning. Therefore, it does not matter if certain background facts are questionable.

the point of the question was why don't christians analyze their books and that muslims scrutinize their books before believing in them. Its nice that christians have faith, but you need evidences

It's called...faith! Without it, we have nothing to believe in. But our Heavenly Father hasn't forgotten us nor left us behind. Good question!
