Drink 6 pints of Guiness, put a bag over your head. wait.
If it doesn't happen within 30 minutes, repeat.

Well, although no one knows the day nor the time, I feel that Jesus is going to be coming back sooner than the next 10 years, it may be much earlier and it may be much later. U have to look at all the signs in the bible and see which ones has happened and which ones hasn't happened yet. Before Jesus comes back, everything that the bible said will happen, must happen!!! The only thing I can suggest you to do is to live each day like it's your last because you may not even be here for that long. You have to know the answer to this question: *If you were to die today or tomorrow where would you go?* If you know that you won't be going to heaven than you should get yourself together and start living the way Jesus would want you to live!. DON'T just wait until the end is here because if you die before than and you are not saved than Hell will be waiting for you. Sorry to sound so harsh, I'm not meaning to but it's the truth.

The Bible's statements on this form a kind of syllogism:
Major Premise: Jesus is returning.
Minor Premise: There is no way to know when.
Conclusion: You must always be ready.
If you're thinking about stockpiling food or weapons to prepare for the end days, I don't see much point. Jesus didn't command any such thing. He commanded to love our neighbors as ourselves and love the Lord with all our strength. He also said that religion which God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is to look after orphans and widows and to keep from being poluted by the world.
I also don't see much point spending a lot of time scouring Scripture for secret messages. The plain ones offer more than enough work that needs doing.

My honest opinion is I think the Second Coming could happen in the next 50 years. That's of course a guess...but the world is getting worse and worse and we know certain things that must be fulfilled before the Second Coming.
Prepare? However you can. I have and am trying to prepare by living the best life I can, obeying the commandments, making and keeping sacred temple covenants, and just enduring.
That's all one can do I think.

I honestly think you should not care about the end of days. You should enjoy life while you're living because tomorrow could be the end of days for you. No need to prepare, events will come and go wether you like it or not... don't waste your time thinking about "when the end will come or how you should prepare for it"... get out there ... see the world as is, because tomorrow you may not have the chance to do so. Take care.

Its true others have wrongly jumped to the idea it was the end in the past BUT never before have so many of the 'signs' been so predominant in our world as now. Whether man-made of not the pestilences are getting worse strains, the weather man-made or not will very much worsen, religious suppression is on all over the world to murderous degrees, murders are almost commonplace, drugs, so when we see the(if true, huh) charismatic leader proposing peace & liberties at first who gathers the whole world's attention watch for his assassination. When he is miraculously brought back to life with help of alien forces(research shows they are here) all hell will break loose appx 3 1/2 yrs. Then bad news for the bad guys-Jesus returns & delivers!

If you really want my honest opinion...
There will be no end of days. It is a concept that is false and is hopefully dying in our weltgestalt (world overview - or attitude). The idea that the earth or some portion of the inhabitants thereof need to be punished for something means that the person harboring that belief has convinced him/herself that they are correct, they are right, and anyone that disagrees with them is wrong. There is no right and wrong, there is no sin, there is no great injustice that mankind needs to atone for.
So there's no need to prepare for anything. Relax and enjoy the beauty and subtlety of this wonderful world that we share.

I honestly can not say, the Bible says No man knows, only God.
But to be prepared is to live your life everyday, like it might be your last. It very well could be, because the END for any of us is when we lay down this life.
So don't worry about when the End will be, just live close to God, and do as well as you can till the end of your life, however it may come.

Our Father works through us everyday, we must prepare each day to serve Him. A lot of peeps seem to be worrying about the end, when it is the now we need to focus on.

Nobody really knows how much time we have left here on earth, but it will be sooner than it was yesterday that's for sure.
You should prepare by accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Savior believing that he is God's only begotten Son and that he "HE LIVES" today!!
If you can honestly with all your heart accept that as TRUTH then you're already prepared!!!!

Honest opinion? They're not coming. At least not for several billion years.
There have been "end of the world" predictions all throughout history. What makes our generation so special?
