Butterface is a term used when guys sees a women with a nice body but an ugly face. Like everything is fine "but her face". If he is saying this to your face than I don't think he was kidding. You best move on! Who would want to go out with an A**hole like that anyway!

It means you've got a hot body, but you have an ugly face. I don't know what makes you think you are in love with him. Love isn't something you just feel. It takes time. You are just infatuated. Get over it. Why would you want to be with someone who thinks you are ugly anyway?
