If you know for sure the puppy has parvo, this is what you need to do. I hoping it is a larger breed, they have a better chance of survival, smaller ones wont last long due to dehydration. Keep it in a closed area, lots of papers, he will be losing it out of both ends, including blood squirting out of his rear. Dont worry this is normal, its the bodys way of getting rid of the disease.
Go to the store and get water with electrolytes, it says on the can, some sports waters have it, some dont. Then buy, borrow, beg or steal a syringe, without the needle. You will be using this to pump the water into the dog very frequently, fill it up, get it behind his teeth and squirt it down his throat, depending on the dogs size, and the size of the syringe, 4-5 every half hour, dont worry if he spits some back up, do it slowly not to gag him.
If you take him out to use the bathroom, wrap him up before you pick him up or you may end up with all sorts of things on you. He will go more frequently. Keep doing this thru-out the night and the next couple of days, when you see a change in his attitude, and stool, you know the body is clearing it out. It may or may not work, if you stick with it and keep him full of fluids he might make it. mine did, and he was only 6 weeks old. But ya gotta keep the fluids in him, thats what kills them the more than anything. Sometimes the virus will attack the organs and there is nothing you can do, but if he is still hanging in there try the fluids, and after a couple days start some baby food in the syringe if he wont eat, but dont overdo it.

Depending on when you bought the pup, there should be a replacement clause if there is anything wrong with the puppy. Providing you went to see the vet in an allotted time. They would then replace the pup, and cover the cost of the Vet bill.
But Parvo is BAD. REALLY BAD
I hope this helps

Get yourself another vet right now. You didn't give any real information, did they recommend hospitalization, IV fluids and medication? This is the best way to treat them although it can be quite expensive. Parvo is often a deadly disease in puppies and needs alot of treatment. In the meantime keep your pup warm, offer pedialyte (same as for sick kids). Dehydration is the biggest danger here. Find yourself another vet pronto! The links below will explain just about everything you need to know.
Good luck

parvo is a virus that attack the dividing cells in dogs, it most commonly affect puppies it likes to grow in rapidly dividing cells, the intestinal lining has the biggest concentration of rapidly dividing cells in a puppies body, the virus attacks and kills these causing diarrhea ( often bloody) depression and suppression of white blood cells which come from another group of rapidly dividing cells, it can also infect the heart muscle in very young puppies causing sudden death puppies should be vacinated for this virus every 305 wks until they are about 20 weeks old good luck and i hope everything is ok with your puppy
