I have been best friends with a guy for 10years. (we are 25 now) We have never been boyfriend/girlfriend and have never had sex. We have made out and stuff. We are both doing our own thing socially and academically at the moment. He has told people I am his soulmate and Last week, while we were drinking I told him he was going to marry me. His response, "Ive thought about that" What does this mean, is it good or bad.

It means the two of you should stop playing childish games and make a serious attempt at being together. It is clear from your posting that you both want each other and both love each other. So stop dilly-dallying and make it happen.

Depending on the guy, it could mean several things, you need to decide what. It could mean he really has thought about it, but was too shy or felt it would be too awkward to really talk about a relationship. He could have just tried to express his feelings without going too in depth in case you were kidding. He could also have said this to respond to the stantement without offending you and have not really meant it. Of course, if there is another thought, it is your decision as to what it means. Try talking to him, no matter how awkward it may be. Who knows? You may be a great couple and be with eachother for the rest of your lives.

In Vino Veritas; it is obvious that, after ten years and however many relationships you have both had, he still occupies first place in your heart. You need to have a very serious, heart to heart and face to face conversation with him, and discuss your future.
